Harry sings it best. It's a tortured song, straight from the heart. Some people croon it with seductive voices, but that's not how to sing this song. You sing it like a tortured soul, lost in the desert dying from the thirst of a missing lover. That's how Harry sings it, and it pierces the heart. He's lived it. You hear that too.

The great Tex-Mex Irishman himself the very mighty Harry Dean Stanton was one of those very rear people that imprinted himself in your mind by saying or going very little very little. he appeared to have a very deep sadness about him but he was probably the happiest person on Gods green earth, he probably had most of the answers to life. Harry was the kind of person if you lived alongside him for a thousand years you still would know very little about him, most of what you knew about Harry Dean Stanton you had made up in your mind, you never got this information from Harry himself. He was the original Quiet Man and way before John Wayne played this part in an Irish film Harry is now singing and hanging out with Phil Lynott & Rory Gallagher down in kingdom hall most weekends and having a heck of a good time with Jesus and all the other boys and girls and life is great
