I hope you know how much it isn't your fault. And your partner didn't choose drugs over you, the drugs robbed them of that choice. Never ask yourself why you weren't good enough, or how they could choose that over your relationship - it never felt like a choice to them. They felt like they needed the drugs like they needed oxygen to breath. The lies facilitated the drug use, so they felt like they needed them too. So take the time you need to heal, but never question your decision. You're a survivor of a toxic relationship and you did what was best for you. You're in my thoughts and I hope you are healthy and happy :)
