Worst part of modern football re writing of people’s careers once they are retired, aguero was one of the most feared players in the league and now people act like what he did was easy because he played for city

Not really. Kane won best playmaker and golden boot in the same season, playing for an average spurs teams. Aguero could never do that. I love aguero but Kane is an all-timer literally the only thing people can chat against him is his trophy-cabinet but Modric, Bale etc won fuck all at spurs as well lmao.

@@isacksb Not being biased at all. Aguero would not have been able to carry spurs in the way Kane did, he also wasn't very reliable fitness wise. As a striker you can help your team in the build-up, in transition and in the box, Kane was/is more effective at all of this tbh. Why does the fact Kane not being top 5 English player oat matter Aguero isn't English and isn't better than Kane. Again this isn't me disrespecting aguero, the guy is a legend but let's not overate him massively, just cos he has a great goals per min average doesn't mean he was all-timer.

Let me just say my respect for James has plummeted this season, his bias against city is insane, he refuse to give any city player props, Aguero at 6th is posible one of the worst options of all time 1 and 2 under any metric has to he Henry and Aguero, the only reason Aguero isn't viewed as such is because he played for city and nobody wants to acknowledge city players, if Aguero did what he has done in any other shirt he would be hailed as the best number 9 in prem history

Shit, did no one watch him at City??😂😂 dribbling, vision, speed, positioning, complete finishing package, long shots, even set pieces, heading. He could play as the main striker, as the second striker, even played as attacking midfielder a couple of times.

1. Rooney 2. Henry 3. Aguero 4. Kane 5. Drogba 6. Suarez Aguero has to be top 3. You can put him below Henry and Rooney if you want, but his ability, his goals, his achievements & trophies, his longevity, he ticks literally every box. Suarez is last purely based on the fact that it was short-lived. Kane however, has to be above Drogba because I don't see any way Drogba can be above him. Goals in finals? This is about EPL, so those don't even count. Better finisher? Kane. Better technically? Kane. Better passer? Kane. More prolific? Kane (Drogba literally couldn't crack 10 goals in the Prem in 4 different seasons). Longevity? Kane. Involving others, hold-up play, etc? Both are similar. The only thing Drogba has over him is the trophies and that's largely down to the squad, anyway. Isn't this James Alcott guy supposed to be this unbiased guy who knows his stuff when it comes to football? This is an absolute shocker with Aguero.

not even slowly, few years ago they said he's better than Benzema. He couldn't score 1 goal in 2 games against a Milan team that held 3 against Potter's Chelsea. it's always "if he was there he would do the same" when in reality he WASN'T there and DIDN'T do it.

@@jiahaogoh2822 Kane is better than Drogba. Drogba literally had 4 seasons where he didn't clear 10 EPL goals in that stacked Chelsea team. Kane clears him, especially in the Prem. Trophies are largely down to the squad, not a single player.

James list is absolutely horrible. Harry Kane while he is a great goalscorer is incredibly overrated. how you rank Henry, Rooney, Aguero and Drogba i don`t mind that much in which order they get listed, but Kane is last on this list if it`s solely prem career then either him or Suarez is last, but if it`s about who is the best overrall player, Kane is easily last on that list.

Kane is a better player than Drogba, I don't know how there can even be a debate with that. Drogba literally was the least prolific, barely scored 10 goals in 4 different campaigns. Kane is just a better footballer than him, too. Drogba more powerful yes, but Kane is technically better, better shot, more prolific, better passer, etc...

@@Al-ji4gd Drogba could have scored more, but he didn`t need to score 20+ every season, due to playing alomg side Lampard. Drogba is the better player out of the two and that is blatantly clear by there intangibles, Drogba has the mentality of a killer, he does whatever is necessary to win. Kane it seems does everything necessary to lose.

@@thetruth4654 Intangibles? I don't know what that means when we're referring to individual players. It's always these nebulous terms that don't refer to anything real. I already pointed out that Kane is technically better than Drogba in almost every conceivable way as a player. If Drogba could have scored more, he would have. He did it in 06/07 and he did in in Ancelotti's first season when he went to the AFCON and scored 29 in 32 inthe league in 09/10. It's not Lampard's fault that he used to get outscored by the likes of Crespo, Anelka, etc. Most of the time he played as the lone striker, and he still wasn't prolific. I'm convinced people like you don't actually watch football.

Only thing stopping Aguero were injuries. Besides Haaland, who's a freak of nature anyways, Aguero has the best goal per minute ratio. Unlike Haaland, Aguero could drop deep and actually score some bangers outside of the box. If you look at how defenders talk about Aguero it really says a lot. It's harder to mark a fox in the box than a striker dropping between the defenders to complete long balls so John from Stoke could say he's better than Benzema.

@@ilooo2005 Kane reached a CL final with spurs AND challenged for the league in 2016 and 2017, he bottled 2016 to LEICESTER Aguero is also the reason why Man city became the best team in England. Aguero broke his knees every season and still carried City to trophies Kane cant even carry his shopping bags home

Hold on I get that Rooney scored more goals than Henry in the Prem but Titi did it in 8 years, it took Rooney 16 years to score 33 more goals than Henry and in the same time 29 more assists. He didn't in his entire 16 years get a single golden boot. Henry is also still tied in the assist record with KDB too btw. That record was never broken. Henry is head and shoulders clear in the Prem above all of these players. Every other player is fighting for 2nd, 3rd and so on.

Rooney didn't play centre-forward as much. He was far more complete than Henry and did more across the pitch, that's the only reason. If you look at overall package and not just goals, Rooney is better.

He also picked up the ball up from deep himself, he just never tried to compromise his position. He's the only player on this list while in the Prem actually deserved a Ballon D'or. Rooney was never the best player in the world at any point while at United.

Yes, he was more dangerous than Rooney in the box, but he was not more complete than Wazza overall. Henry was never the best player in the world at any point while at Arsenal, either, so what?

@@trashed4005 I know what people say, they're wrong. It's typical British/Prem bias. Henry was never at any point the best player in the world, he was top 3, at best and even that's pushing it. Nedved had the better year in '03 and even Zidane was better than Henry that year, hence why they won the two major awards. Shevchenko and Ronaldinho won the same two awards in '04, and deservedly so. And in '05 Dinho was the best in the world by far for that season, hence why he won both. You had these guys doing it in better leagues and carrying their national teams, whereas Henry was a passenger for most his career in the UCL with Arsenal and for France, getting carried by Zidane and even Trezeguet for most of it.
