Have to correct a few things. Meghan grew up in a middle-class household. And Meghan’s father did not win millions in the lotto. He won exactly $750,000 after taxes. He lost a big portion of it in some jewelry business that failed. He gave some to his sone and other daughter and paid Meghan’s high school tuition. He filed bankrupt 3 times in 1991, 1993, and 2016 (reference blog.vanhornlawgroup.com/rags-riches-and-royalty-parable-of-the-Thomas-Markle-bankruptcies/). Yes @Sreeja Gummadi, the 19th of May's Anne Boleyn connection is a known fact which didn't go unnoticed at the time by intelligent royal observers. The choice was probably coincidental in terms of scheduling. Still, there were surely palace courtiers who at some point realized the historical significance of the date either before or after the day was selected. Royal scheduling is complicated so there must have been a lot of vetting before the day was set. I doubt M or H had much to do with how the exact date was picked out. In my opinion, the historical significance of the date can and should be looked at positively, in terms of the joyous, celebratory occasion of a royal wedding lending healing to age-old royal family dramas and traumas. In other words, Heads Together, eh!!! Hmmm, sadly, the monarchy flubbed the opportunity and advantages that the union of Harry & Meghan represented and continues to represent. But it's too late now for the royal firm & for the British media. Harry & Meghan & Archie belong to themselves and their platform is the wide world.
