I was in search for triathlon shoes now for a while. I tried a lot of different models those fiziks also. For me they just didn’t feel right. It could be lack of tightness in the front. I had some numbness on the outside of the foot after 1 hour on turbo. I have tried also northwave tribute 2 carbon and they worked pretty well for me so I stick with those now. I love those fizik ones but they just didn’t fit me. It could be because my foot is a bit narrower so I need some tightening on the top of the foot.

Alex Dowsett tested different shoes in the wind tunnel and found the Bonts were like the slowest shoe

I don’t train in the bonts anymore cos they are just ‘weird’ lol. I use shimano sphyre in training and bonts for racing. I have narrow feet tho so ye. I haven’t had the issue in t1 and use the boa eyelets for elastics but ye. I will take them to the tunnel hopefully to see if there are savings in them

Nice mate yeah I’ve tried the sphyres and love the way they look but my feet unfortunately are far too fat for them 😢😂 I’d love to hear what info you get from the tunnel

Are the Bont shoe a tri specific shoe? Or are they are general cycling shoe. I ask as they don’t have a tag on the back to help you get in the shoes and the whole shoe doesn’t seem tri specific.
