Wands up for McGonagall. Losing her hits as hard as it did when Robbie Coltrane/Hagrid passed. As Robbie said during the Reunion, “50 years from now, I’ll be gone, but Hagrid will live on.” I truly hope Maggie is greeted by Robbie, Alan, Michael, Richard, and every other actor we’ve sadly lost from the movies and that they’re all enjoying a Butterbeer together.

One of my favorite things about the books is Harry getting Fabian’s watch and Ron receiving a brand new watch. It perfectly symbolizes what they each need. For Ron it’s something new, a symbol of adulthood that hasn’t wasn’t already used by his brothers, whereas Harry longed for the familial connection you get from receiving heirlooms. In a sense Harry being given his own heirloom to feel like a part of a family that wasn’t his own very greatly parallels Krechers being given the locket by Regulus Black. It showed him he was accepted

Glad you brought up the point about Krum complimenting Harry’s flying skills and other moments where Harry excelled at magic. It is truly a terrible loss the passing of Maggie Smith but can we take but a second to redirect our attention to and appreciate the unwavering time and commitment Morgan consistently puts into these videos/channel, actively keeping the Wizarding World alive in our minds. I think it could also be cool if you did “Things you wouldn’t know if you’ve only read the books” like where you go into deep HP lore based on things Rowling published after the series, etc. I love Harry Potter and have read all the books but this channel is usually how I discover that deep lore, and there’s probably so much to talk about. I wish they had shown Crouch Jr. receiving the Dementor's Kiss on screen. I can imagine it would be pretty horrific, but they sort of dulled down the scariness factor of the Dementors in the Prisoner of Azkaban film, and this scene would have fit in well in the Goblet of Fire film also, R.I.P Maggie Smith.
