Wow! No way could any type of color printer achieve such dimensionality and brilliance; the laser actually goes into the multiple layers of color, creating a depth-gradient for an infinitesimal bas relief of sorts for that extra visual oomph. Truly amazing process and result.

I just tried my first canvas today. I had a coat of red and a coat of black on top, then made some test squares at different powers ranging from 1-10, then 20, 30, 40, up to 80. All at 1200 speed. 1-10 did nothing. 20 and 30 showed a little white (the canvas color), then 40 and 50 burned right through the canvas so I stopped it. I never saw the red at all. Do you think 1200 was too slow?

I have recently received my Ortur Laser Master 2 and created my first canvas like you do. I have used Rust-Oleum painters touch 2x ultracover paint and primer. It looked fantastic but when I touched it the paint came off. I thought it was ash from the burn but when I went to wipe it, it took it off all the way to the white canvas. Any Idea of why and what I can do to prevent this again. It took almost 12 hours and the print is ruined. It sarted with a base coat of black. Applied in 2 layers. Then the same thing in green. I did 2 passes. Both paints were the same brand and type. The original black base coat dried for about an hour. Then the top coats sat overnight.
