Loved the Great Northern, it was cool to watch the tie replacer do its thing, the Revy chorus line made me laugh out loud, the rocket launch was epic, and every shot at that curve on the river in Ft. Madison is gorgeous--plus another exquisite timelapse sunset. Bravo!

The resistor grids of the dynamic braking system glow red hot when they are in use. The camera shows this as a purple colour. (Dynamic brakes use the traction motors to generate electricity which the resistor grids turn into heat.)
