I do think he’s really sweet but if prefer more honesty in his reactions. Like I know he would be more satisfied with higher quality items and I can feel him holding back sometimes. It’s okay to acknowledge that this calendar might be for some people, however if you’re spending your money on these, it’s important to know whether it’s actually worth it or not… unfortunately cinereplicas has not been producing quality calendars in the last few years.

As a parent, I still think they would be perfect for young kids. I have a 9, 7 and 2 year old and they older two would emjoy this. We definitely need cheap and easy calendars for our younger witches and wizards but I just wish the adult ones were more aimed for us too.

11:41 those wand pens, I’m fairly certain they came from when the cursed child came out lol. At least when I preordered the book, I preordered a thing that came with a bag and the pen, and it was that exact pen I’m pretty sure.

Maybe the eraser had a stag and "Always" to represent both of Harry's parents. The stag was James's patronus and Lily did say "Always" when Harry asked them to stay with him before meeting Voldemort. Maybe I am wrong, but that is what I assume since they "visited" the Potters on. Christmas as well.

Also a big fan of the bouncy balls. Super Ball I think was what they were called in the little machines. I'm old enough that I remember when they went from 10 cents to 25 cents. And definitely some were better quality than others. Had a big bowl of them. Essential for playing jacks.

Um doesn't Snape patronis a deer and say "always" when he produces it

Don't know if you wanted the thorough explanation but here I go. Snape's patronus is a doe (female deer} and they don't have antlers. Harry has the same patronus as his father, a stag (male deer) and they have antlers. And the "always" quote is often pictured with Snape's patronus but its not apart of it. It's portrayed that way in merch and art because in the scene in both the book and movie when he's talking to Dumbledore he summons his patronus to prove that he still loves Lily and will protect her child "always"

I love his videos for these, but consistently, I have not been impressed with the cine replicas advent calendars. They are known for making expensive and high quality items. It feels odd that they make cheap items in their calendars. I get making fun school supplies, but even I think kids deserve better than these boxes. I feel box 1 this week had more fun items for kids and it is a nice gift because they can keep the trunk that it comes with.

My approach is to provide a negative free unboxing to allow viewers the chance to make their own decision on whether or not to buy something. Some may see this calendar as fun and worth it for them. Why should I tell them it is terrible? I know other KZbinrs are very negatively vocal about things but that isn’t and never has been my approach when it comes to this channel. 🙂
