U have probably heard of Live roleplaying (where people play out characters in the forest with orcs and elfs. Item number 9 is for dice rolling. They are popular for people who play D&D as it's portable area to roll dice in so your dice doesn't escape. I imagine it can be used for all sorts of dice-oriented games.

Way back in the 70s, we'd go to KMart to the birthday aisle and buy all this cheap plastic stuff to put in goody bags to give to the guests at kids' birthday parties,. The comb and the compact reminds me of that stuff. It was cheap tat then, it's even more-so now.

Hi! For box number 9: I don't know about other countries, but in Italy it is a fairly common object that we call a "pocket emptier": for example, you put it on a piece of furniture near the entrance to your house and it is used to put keys, coins, etc. ...when you enter the house.

No 9 is an accessories tray, at least thats how we use it in my country. Its very usefull when you travelling , as you can store it flat in your luggage and use it later on in hotel.

I think that bookmark is cute and wonderful. As some books are small in size and having long bookmarks is not usable.. I mostly use my expired credit card for bookmarks as it is small in size and can be used to other small journey books, notebooks etc. so it's not bad.

I think they have improved, the box is lovely and refillable. A family of young witches and wizards would love to share this. The tray is one of my favorites, fold up for travelling, then make it up to store things on your bedside! Still not worth the £50 price tag but bookmarked to see if stock gets reduced as we start December. I understand its not for collectors, but its fun!

I was thinking of ash tray too.🤣 For children or not, if you put on your product that it's deluxe, then the content has to be exactly that, really deluxe quality, and not some cheap stuff you get in some really cheap junk shops. This is Harry Potter, and devoted fans know all about it, and (no matter what their age) will not tolerate being ripped off by such junk.

It's great to see a Harry Potter advent calendar, even if it's not the best! That said, for €2 per item, it's more or less what you'd expect quality-wise, I was even pleasantly surprised on some days and I like that many of the products were practical, instead of just pins and deco items.

That company is certainly laughing their way all the way to the bank! Awful! But thank you Cherry for doing these so that at least some of us don’t waste our money! So far, for Harry Potter, I liked the one with the trunk, but only for the trunk, and the Schleich one with the miniature figurines was awesome. As for the others, I liked the PLouise one because it was actually worth the money spent. Not only the packaging was cute and reusable, but items were all full size, not just samples. I don’t use makeup so it wasn’t for me, but anybody who does shouldn’t be disappointed. Love advent calendar time! I think we need a “The Lost Cauldron” advent calendar next year, right Cherry?

That faux-leather tray is basically used for Dice. It's more sold in geek shops with DnD, I'm honestly surprised why they put that in there and like not even indicate it's for... idk DICE? And oof that luggage tag... It looked not too bad of a print ( For little kids' luggages) but the way it's de-formed... and the lost pieces for the last one is just sad. Definitely feels like this is more of a 25-30 pricetag instead of the 50

I guess this is an unpopular opinion but I liked the socks. I think they were cute and I liked the keychain. I collect them. Yea some of the other stuff wasn't great. But not everything was bad.

A helpful suggestion with the adjustable bracelet, if the quality is as bad as everything else just take some needle nose pliers and you should be able to pry that extra chain off easily I've done it with similar things.

That's what we really have to remember here £50 isn't as much as it once was and they need to profit off of each box and I'm guessing HP licensing isn't cheap. I'm guessing they maybe spent £20 on the items and the quality does look it.

The leather thing with poppers is supposed to be a trinket tray. The luggage tag you can straighten with a hair dryer. Then put something heavy on top of it to flatten it.

#9 is a dice tray for TTRPG( tabletop role playing games) the snap corners are popular for portability. I'm sure it could also be used to store jewelry, or bits and bobs. The calander was definitely a let down
