It would have just made Sirius look like a chump. If Molly can take her (which I think is already a stretch), then Bellatrix beating Sirius in a head to head duel takes away from his character. It's better for both characters that she was being a sneak and he wasn't ready.

In David Tennant's Reddit AMA, he said he only did about 10 days of actual work for the film over one year, and that those days would be split up (I.e. he did one day for one scene, then did 2-3 days a month later for a different scene), so he wasn't really on set that much or interacted with other actors between filming since he wasn't a full time cast member. It seems like Crouch Jrs lack of screen time may have been more of a logistical/planning issue than a editing/directing one

The Voldemort line from the graveyard, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away," is from the Book of Job in the Bible. Pretty interesting that this was recorded for the film. Incredible video! I never knew there was so much never-before-seen footage. Thank you, MovieFlame, for the hard work you put into these videos. I always look forward to watching your Harry Potter content.
@rebeccabaumgarten7573Ай бұрын
When I heard that line, I said, “WHOA! NO WAY!” now, the “Harry Potter is the devil” people would have had a field day with that, but I think it’s genius: the devil (Voldemort) can quote Scripture for his own uses, and it suggests that he thinks of himself as God. Add the context of the whole demonic parity of resurrection, with a warped inversion of the Eucharist and everything, and have you got one satanic villain.
@InvertedFreeSolo2 ай бұрын

In terms of the ones from Goblet of Fire, I'm glad they didn't include the scene of Harry and Hermione dancing at the Yule Ball, as it was not something from the book for one, and for another, it would have given film audiences that hadn't read the books completely the wrong impression about Harry and Hermione. As for the alternate ending that had tons of photos taken, despite not being in the book, I wish they had kept it in, it shows Ron and Hermione acting as concerned friends should do and offer Harry reassurance and support when he needs it most, while the horrific images he had witnessed (the guilt he felt at Cedric's murder and Voldemort being restored to his body) were very raw and fresh in his mind
@tgiacin4352 ай бұрын
They still did it anyways in DH. Like there are multiple times Harry never showed romantic interest in Hermione. Even just hanging out with her while he and Ron weren’t talking to each other, he commented on how boring it was to hang out with her when Ron wasn’t there
@SiVlog19892 ай бұрын
@@tgiacin435 indeed, it seems like the script writers were falling into the trap that was the stereotype of the male lead falling for the female lead. Like you said, Harry never saw her that way, seeing her more as a sister than a potential love interest. Besides, given how Ron reacted in canon to Hermione dancing with Krum, heaven knows the wrong impression he would have got seeing his two best friends, one of whom he starts to realise he has feelings for, dancing with each other.
