Dobby's death tore my child heart to shreds when I first read/saw it. Humans are so cute paying respects for a CGI character. Truly shows how much of an impact the HP series had on all of us. Thanks for another amazing video per usual

Another unique location, we didn't even know about the shrine they created for him, this is epic and we want to visit it now as well. Dobby was along with Hedwig, Fred, Lupin, Tonks and of course in earlier parts Sirius and Dumbledore heartbreaking deaths, deaths you knew were coming when watching the films, but deep down you still wished it did not. Another amazing video, you always know how to find the best spots. And we love the socks Jessica picked out, they fit Dobby so well.

Right there with you Michael. I pre ordered the books so I could get them before they went in the shops. The first showing of the movie I was in line with my popcorn! One of the best if not the best novels of all time. I became one with the characters and yes, I too cried when Dobby was killed. What a fantastic memorial. I’m split on emotion with this one. My maternal family are from Angle, a tiny village near here, and this has always been my ‘special’ place, ever since I was a little kid. The seaweed drying hut up on the cliff belonged to my grandmothers family….they used to collect lava weed to sell, and originally there were 3 drying huts. ….so I have a lot of emotional ties to this place. I still come here to get peace, to blow away my brain cobwebs, and just be. It was always a little known secret place for locals, so wild but quiet. Even in the height of summer. Since the filming and Dobby shrine it’s taken away some of the peace, but for those, like you, who appreciated the beauty of Freshwater West, it’s also lovely that you can also experience it. ❤️

Croeso i Gymru - Welcome to Wales! thought you were ignoring us! 😁 Can’t spend all your time in just England and Scotland when you come to the UK 😁. Lots of filming locations about too. That beach you were on - Freshwater West - was also used for Russell Crowe’s Robin Hood movie, I remember visiting when a lot of the set was still there. Lots of Doctor Who filming locations in South Wales too as the production is based here. While in Wales you need to visit the Willow locations in North Wales - absolutely stunning scenery! Enjoy your visit. ❤

Thank you for this video. Harry Potter the books and movies hold a very special place in my heart. My daughter who died in 2011 and I always anxiously awaited the release of the books and movies. We too would wait in line and then argue who got to read the books first. As soon as the movie came out we would be there. These are wonderful memories for me. Dobby was a favorite of us both. My daughter was 5 when she first watched the Harry Potter movies. Dobby is her favorite character 2 years later. But that first time, when she saw Dobby die, she climbed up in my lap and just cried and cried. She loves Dobby. We have lots of Dobby (and Hedwig) things around our house. Lol!

wow . didn't get into Harry potter until just before the 5th book was written. I never went to a midnight viewing of any films. I did buy the books when they first came out. I do recall reading the last book on a subway train and one woman was telling me "you want to know what happens ?" then her boyfriend came in to tell her to leave me alone.
