Harry Potter - KNOCKTURN ALLEY | Sims 4 Speed Build
Hello Harry Potterfans, Horrofans, Simmers and fellow Hufflepuffs. Today we are going to rebuild something The Sims game that a lot might know from the big Harry Potter universe and since it is spooktober, we will go dark this time! Knockturn Alley is the dark opposite of Diagon Alley. Wizard can buy curses objects, dark magic ingredients or haunted furniture. etc. I thought since Realm of Magic came out for the Sims, we know are in special need of a more horror like scary shopping district with wand shops, familiar shops etc. where your Sims can buy just the right stuff if they are more chatoic evil to neutral...if you catch my drift.

The Magic Box (magic shop from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Halliwell Manor from Charmed, Salvatore Boarding House (Vampire Diaries or Legacies), Hotel from the Shining, Amityville (New windows look similar), house from It, pink palace From Coralie, any build from American Horror Story (murder house, Briarcliff, Miss Robicheaux's Academy, Hotel Cortez), mansion from American Gothic.

I'm downloading this and I'm just gonna call that community lot in the corner the "Lot of Requirement". There are so few lots in Glimmerbrook but people keep making cool witchy community lots, so I'm just gonna switch them out whenever I want to go to them.

I think you can make Glimmerbrook spooky. I think it fits since it is a forrest neighbourhoods it looks kinda more spoopy than other neighborhoods.

💜💜💜💜 You should try the audiobooks, Fry! The narrator is excellent! I'm actually on book 6, the Half-Blood Prince and its probably my 100th time listening to all the books again. They are so relaxing when building in the Sims. 😉

I am listening to audiobooks sometimes. But usually in German and I don’t like the German voice who reads the books. I have some favourite voice actors I like and can only listen to them. I don’t know why I am so picky about this. I think it has to do with the pacing.

Girl.....GIRL! I've never watched any Harry Potter movies, but second to the ghost ship, this is the best build you've done! I've seen enough online and you captured the feeling of wizardry and fantasy. My favorite room is the green cauldron room, but I love all of the shops. Especially all the skulls and spiders. (Did I ever tell you I have tarantulas?) Even if someone, like me, isn't a HP fan they could still put this in their game EASY. Seriously, I could have caught hundreds of flies because my jaw was dropped so wide. I can't begin to guess how long this took. I had another build idea from my second favorite horror movie; Michael Myers house, but when it's old and decrepit. I figure with all the "broken" build/buy items and rough looking wall coverings as well as landscaping items it wouldn't be too hard. You could even put the tragic clown picture in as an homage to young Michael Myers the night of his ghastly murders. 😈 I can't wait to see what you build next! I hope you are having a fantastic evening!

Heeeyyyy! So happy you like it!! 😊 it is definitely one of the ‚cooler‘ areas in the harry potter universe. So I had to rebuild it. Is Haddonfield the mike myers house? At least that is definitely on my list. And I will try to rebuild that for sure!!

Well, the house is supposed to be in Haddonfield, Illinois. Whichbis a fictional town. You may know this, but the movie was actually shot in California. I've always loved that fact since it doesn't look it, at least to me. In the original movie there are shots of the house as "old", OR you could utilize Rob Zombie's Halloween because the Myers house looks old in that one, too. I've seen other ideas in the comments that are amazing as well. If I could build like you, I wouldn't even know where to start! If I come up with another idea, I'll let you know. I wish something from the Exorcist could be recreated, but I don't think it would be possible within Sims B/B limitations.

I would be so very happy if you were able to find a way to make that lot into something amazing. Of course, it's just a suggestion and I bet you already have a huge list of things to build.
