@LeonardoKlotz8 сағат бұрын
Alfonso Cuaron did right leaving this franchise after making only one movie. Usually, when you see a small budget director going from a small budget to a big budget, he usually wants to stay in the big budget territory, sometimes making sequels or similar movies. Cuaron avoided that, and instead used his experience on big budget movies to explore other genres and try different things. I love a director who explores different genres. Is usually what leads to a lasting career.

I think the students wore everyday clothes beneath their school robes in the books; it even looks like the case based on the book covers. Harry appearing in the Great Hall to confront Snape in the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 might be an easter egg about this detail. Fun Fact: Harry and Hermione's casual clothes from PoA return in DH Pt. 2 during the Battle of Hogwarts, but with an extra coat over them.

@ObsessiveGeek6 сағат бұрын
I’m sure that’s exactly what happened, pretty much everyone was in on it except Daniel, the full outtake is hilarious as Michael Gambon and Alan Rickman keep the scene going longer by improving. Dumbledore makes a long winded explanation about how dreams allow a person to be completely unaware of their surroundings (implying a sleeper can fart away without feeling embarrassed) while Snape simply saying things like “…yes…quite” as all you hear are farts and you can see Daniel is trying his best not to crack while the scene is filming. RIP to two extraordinary talents who brought entire families joy every year.

Something I just thought about, regarding Remus always carrying chocolate: He tells Harry chocolate makes you feel better. But as a werewolf, he's part canine and chocolate is known to be toxic to dogs. Remus, in the books, is known later on to be quite apathetic towards the idea of remaining alive. I wonder if this was a "contingency" of sorts for him.

The visuals in this film are so amazing. I think the Dementors really left a feeling of the absolute void of despair those beings evoke within their victims in this film. one (of many) plot holes that could be fixed from the fantastic beast series is Dumbledore's age. Obviously they chose a much younger actor to play Dumbledore in those movies, but an argument could be made that he spent so much time using the time turner that he was aging faster than others. Like maybe he went back in time to attempt to reconcile what happened to him and Grindelwald. This would lead to even more plot holes, but I think Jude Law was one of the best parts of Fantastic Beasts and played a very good Dumbledore.
