Me too and that's what they said they were doing but now we have a bunch if race swapped and gender swapped actors offered roles. I wouldn't mind these changes if it was a reimagining but they said it's not

Book series are normally better adapted as multiple seasons than as movies because character development can be properly paced. My only issue is that the story is so well known at this point that they can't follow the books very closely, so what's the point?

Honestly, I am just too apathetic about the whole series and the disappointment of the author that I have no interest to watch the franchise, as I have outgrown them and moved on. The empathic actors and actresses allies that came out of the franchise are a net positive. The heart-pulling story spun about the author as struggling waitress writing down her story on napkins and bits of paper is just mediocre at best. As any aspiring writer can attest to the fact that they have done the same thing if the inspiration drive strikes and misplaced our notepad. Granted she just had luck of the timing of the release and publicity which happened to strike in her favor. But good luck to the child actors who take part, may they turn out to be more empathetic than the author.

How about you look up what transphobic means first of all because I don't think you know what it means. The fact that you actually don't think she has said anything transphobic proves that. She doubles down practically on the daily, that trans women aren't real women and believes they are a threat to women assigned female at birth. She even goes after women who are assigned female at birth because they "appear masculine".

Transition is a process, not an identity. There is no such thing as transphobic. Rowling is simply a feminist who wrote a compelling story.
