Maybe try using the Compatibility options in Windows? I bet there are plenty walkthroughs available on the internet on how to play relatively old games (like Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) on newer versions of Windows. It can be quite annoying to solve this problem (I know), but I do think it is possible (so good luck).

Hello ! Good to hear you spend holidays in a good way ! I've just arrived home from a week at Ukraine - and its really not that bad as everyone says. Wish you the rest would be as good ! Its hard to say what would new HP be like. Generally theatric adaptations are slightly less hollywood-ish in my opinion, so far I went on Billy Elliot and Mamma Mia, and its hard to compare it with the movies that came by. In general the new book would equal itself a new movie, and later a new game also - so basically everything focus on a new story, but its hard to say what would it be. When I heard rumors about HP being put in NYC I was quite shocked, probably as every HP fan :P I hope that at least some parts would cotain a small bit of England, where it all started And its great to hear that you started HP PC version. By some time I had to look for a patch for this game to fix some bugs. Maybe its the matter I own a game that was translated unofficially, but I think its worth trying. Its a short game, and if you are curious about every little corner, you can find all the cards easily ;) The second game is much more difficult, due to more spells, bigger castle, and card trading system.

I really want there to be a 9th Harry Potter movie and more after that. But I also think it would be really good if the story moves on to Harry's son Albus and make it all about him. It could be about him learning new magic throughout the years and doing lots of events like what Harry did, and there could also be a new enemy against Albus Potter, not sure what kind of enemy but a really good one, maybe a secret character that was friends with Voldemort who never appeared in any of the movies, but it's definitely impossible for Voldemort to come back from the dead coz after Harry Potter finished him off, the real Voldemort just turned into dirt or whatever which means he's gone for good, but if he does come back then I guess he's the new enemy all over again but I really don't think he'll ever come back again coz he's history now. But yeah I just want to let you know that I would really want there to be more Harry Potter movies of either Harry Potter or Albus Potter story to continue on

Its very good to see you back on youtube For any new harry potter contet i would like to see another book because you feel better or i feel better with books but anyway it would be very nice to get a few last books for all harry potter fans and by the way hope the game works for you so just keep the work up and keep going

They need to remaster the older games like the chamber of secrets for PS3 / PS4 because the games are hard to find and usually don't work.

Wow, I was typing out this comment while listening and then you started answering it haha! Jack, please play Philosopher's Stone PC version, I asked you a couple of years ago and you said you would in the future but you haven't :( sorry if you're too busy to do it or if you've got other games lined up but I'd like to see it :) Not sure what's up with the weird lines appearing on your screen but please don't skip to CoS :(

Sam Barrett Hey man, I will try but unless I can get the game to work then I'm afraid it won't be possible- won't be anything to watch apart from weird lines!

ZeppelinG1993 Maybe the lines thing is because the game is way too old,try running it with compatibility settings for Windows 7(if that's what you have on your laptop) maybe that could fix it,also try fiddling with the graphic settings in-game like resolution and stuff,maybe that has something to do with it.Never had that problem before but that was when i was running it on my old PC with Windows XP.Also when you play on your laptop are Harry and Dumbledore's glasses normal or are they weird 3D-like glasses?

ZeppelinG1993 Any news on the Philosopher's Stone game? Were you able to fix it? Sorry if I'm being a bit annoying but I'm really excited for this LP series of the PC games.
