Wolfstar is my longest-running primary ship. Most ships I look at, read and run out of content or I lose interest. The sheer amount of wide-ranging fanfictions for wolfstar is impressive. You could be in the mood for any one type of fanfiction, be it fluff, pure smut, AU, or angst... and wolfster can supply you in abundance. It was the fandom that got me into it. From what I remember, I wanted to explore the Marauders era, but I was dissatisfied with the romance fics taking away from the group dynamics of the four... except wolfstar. Wolfstar fics generally stayed within the group and even if James and Peter are not there (but they usually are)... two of the four are. So I searched specifically for them. I then expanded into other eras for the pair, the first wizarding war era, post-azkaban, bring back black AUs, raising harry AUs and then finally to pure AUs. I generally dislike AUs that go pure AU because part of the reason why I read them is for the universe, but some of these writers are the best I've ever seen in any fandom. Ever. These authors can pull gold from a rabbit's arse. Personally, I'm okay with Tonks. I do like her and her relationship with Remus, but I think it is a missed opportunity with Sirius representation-wise. ...and yes I think wolfstar should have been the one to be revealed to be a thing over grindeldore. Not that I have a problem with old dumbles being gay its just... tragic how the only official gay character is of a main ship with such an abusive arsehole The whole "let slip to snape" thing with Remus' secret is context-less. We have no idea what actually happened and if it was an accident or on purpose. I've read some fantastic fics which have ingenious ways in how it could have been accidental. Alternatively, I have also read fics which explores Sirius being forced to grow up after the event and learn from the mistake with some severe consequences for him

@tatianamelendez4906 жыл бұрын
Personally, I really liked Lupin & Tonks, but I totally can see the potential of Wolfstar, and hell, why not? I'll ship it too. Here's MY narrative of the events. Tonks harbored a secret unrequited love for Lupin, but he was in a loving relationship with Sirius; they've loved each other since they were boys. But then Sirius dies and Lupin is devastated. All through the next year, Tonks does her best to guide him through his grief and as time passes, he grows to care for her. But then she makes the mistake of confessing her feelings too soon and spooking him off, as he's not completely ready to move on from Sirius. Then at the end of the 6th book, when Tonks confronts Lupin in front of the others, he realizes that even if he doesn't love her as much as he did Sirius, he does care and love her in a different way, plus he doesn't want to be alone anymore. So he marries her, and his love for her grows. And while he knows that Sirius will always be his one true love, he's made his peace with his death and is happy with his wife, whom he loves, although of course he's anxious about their son. This headcannon came to me thanks to my mom, who told me that while she dearly loves my stepdad (she wouldn't put up with his bullshit if she didn't), she would always consider my dad the love of her life, it just didn't work out because reasons. It resonates with the story potential in this little love triangle. It makes sense to me since I don't see why Wolfstar and Lunks (I don't know their official couple name) can't be in the same cannon since Tonks didn't reveal her feelings until after Sirius 's death. It doesn't put down Lupin 's relationships with Sirius and Tonks or claims that one is superior over the other (unless you count Wolfstar fix - its, I can't help you there). Plus it showcases a very adult view of love in that things with life and love are much more complicated than meeting your OTL and having a happily ever after, and that the person you end up growing old with (or dying with, in this case) is not who you expected.
@tatianamelendez4906 жыл бұрын
As for your last question concerning Grindeldore, conceding that it has a much higher chance of becoming cannon than Wolfstar, I'd choose Grindeldore, but I would prefer if they change their backstory. I think I wrote a comment about this in the Grindeldore video, but to summarize, for me, the whole Dumbledore's romantic feelings being taken advantage of by Grindelwald, while I understand that it can help give voice to victims of similar cases and IN NO WAY DETRACT FROM THAT NOR UNACKNOWLEDGE ITS VALIDITY, but it feels like it takes away a lot of the gray areas from both characters, making Grindelwald just seem like a Voldemort replica, just not as successful in some ways, and forgiving Dumbledore's transgressions because of his emotional victimization. I prefer they took it the Cherik (Magneto x Prof X) route; 2 people who really cared for each other (*cough*loved each other*cough cough*) forced to separate because of extenuating circumstances and different ideologies. In Grindeldore 's case, this would add depth to both of them, humanizing the villain while recognizing Dumbledore's grave mistakes.

when I was younger, the books were pretty much like the bible for me and I belived in sola scriptura. so I really didn't think much about Remus and Sirius as potential lovers - or in fact any gay pairing. However, when I first stumbled over Wolfstar online, the appeal of it was immediately obvious. I think that Sirius, too, is heavily queercoded and I am completely unable to see him as straight. I also headcanon him to have had a crush James for a while, until he realized that his feelings for James were brotherly and he started to spend more time with Remus. so yeah I definitely ship it!

Ok I have a lot to say. I didn’t read the HP books or watch the movies until I was an adult. I didn’t know ANYTHING about Harry Potter. I would read one book, then watch the corresponding film, then the next and so on. I immediately read Remus as queer. Like he was very blatantly gay to me, and I loved it. I didn’t necessarily ship Wolfstar until I discovered fan fiction though, but once I read a few stories their relationship seemed so damn obvious. In OOTP especially, there are gay vibes all over the place. Then JKR swoops in with the Tonks relationship and I am just like.... what? I like Tonks. I think she’s pretty cool. I even read HER as queer at first! But then she’s suddenly crying over a man who doesn’t want to be with her (who has just lost his best friend/possible lover), everyone is in their business, and the Tonks thing just seemed so FORCED. Like maybe JK did initially write Remus as gay but changed it last minute? Idk. Now, I’ve read some fantastic fanfics where writers have incorporated the Tonks relationship with Wolfstar in a way that makes sense. Sirius and Tonks somehow switch bodies just before he falls through the veil and since she’s a metamorphagus Sirius can shift into his form and since Tonks is a woman they can finally get married etc. Or Tonks manipulates Remus by taking Sirius’s form and ends up accidentally pregnant, hence Remus wanting to leave her and their relationship is complicated. Or Remus is bisexual and ends up with Tonks because she looks a lot like Sirius since they are related. Alsoooo people will disagree with me hard on this but I find the massive age difference between Remus and Tonks to be fucking creepy. I think he’s eleven years older than her and she’s not much older than Harry & co, which is fine in reality I guess but these are kids’ books, you know? And then there’s the bit about Sirius being really attractive but not caring about all the girls who were making googly eyes at him. And he was disowned by his parents (for other reasons but still). So obviously gay. Anyway needless to say, they are my OTP and the only characters I ship so passionately. I have very strong opinions about them.

1. I've been a Wolfstar shipper since I first read the books, though I was already aware of it's existence which may have impacted how I read it. I think the chemistry is what really drew me in and a touch of "opposites attract." And who doesn't love a good "Friends to Lovers." 2. Though I would love to have seen it canon, I don't really mind that it's not. It may have made it more meaningful, especially Sirius' death as Lupin's reaction would have been even more heartbreaking. If there is ever some form of the Marauders era put to film or book I would adore to see it become canon there. 3. I think Grindeldore needs to be acknowledged in the films but I see it as a one sided thing so in terms of becoming a canon couple, I'd prefer Wolfstar. Thanks for another amazing video! I don't actually ship too much in the HP universe but Wolfstar are definitely my favourite. Also I love your new hair!

I was quite young when the HP series was being released (I was in the 7th or 8th grade for Deathly Hallows), so I only picked up on Wolfstar from the fandom later on. Wolfstar is actually the first non-canon ship I ever shipped! What really solidified the way I see the pairing in my mind is The Shoebox Project, an amazing fanfic that I highly recommend to anyone in the fandom. I don't really mind that Wolfstar isn't canon. I have accepted Harry Potter for what it is, a series that meant a lot to me growing up that I have made my own through my interpretations of the text. In my mind Sirius and Remus had some sort of romantic relationship, that reading adds to the tragedy of their story and to my understanding of their chatacters, even if Rowling doesn't agree with me on that. I think that what with Rowling's statements about Dumbledore's sexuality and the new films featuring him and Grindlewald, making those two canon would make a lot of sense. I don't ship the pairing in the sense that I don't engage in fanworks about the two, but I am much more disappointed about them not being canonized than Wolfstar, if only because we all expected the franchise to finally have some representation of a same sex relationship through them.

Also the trope of a clean cut gentleman being with a more scruffy man is one of my favorites.

I wasn’t a part of fandom when I originally read the books and watched the movies, but later fell in LOVE with wolfstar after I became aware of shipping culture and saw some of the fanworks out there. As much as I adore Tonks I never really liked her and Remus as a couple, so that probably helped too. I actually agree with a lot of people that the way Remus is coded as queer is problematic in multiple ways (as are a lot of Rowling’s post-book tweets, hence why I don’t put any real stock into what she says is “canon” but isn’t actually in the books), but his chemistry with Sirius makes the ship work for me anyway.

1) I am a big WolfStar shipper! Like HUGE for years. 2)For me it was a combo of the PoA movie and the online fandom. I joined the fandom after the first movie when I was 11. They introduced me to the characters before I even saw them on screen, but then seeming them on screen clenched it for me. 3) I don't have to wish it was canon, to me it is, that is all that matters. I am bisexual so I dont even mind that Remus married Tonks after Sirius' death. Though I am a proponent of the fix it where Sirius doesn't die and him and Remus are happy and together after the war. I also like AUs where Sirius doesn't go after Wormtail and get framed for his murder, because he goes to Harry and ends up raising Harry as a son with Remus. 4) like I said I don't need for it to be "made canon" because to me it is. That being said, I care very little for Grindlore, so of course I would prefer WolfStar had been the marked representation.

I only started shipping Wolfstar a few years ago as I grew up reading Harry Potter (being 7 when the 7th book came out and my parents imposing a max of 7 questions a day about the story for my sister and I (we wanted to know what was happening a little to desperately 😅) because the novel was only out in English and we could still only speak Dutch) so almost as far back as my memory goes I 'shipped' Tonks and Lupin (I put it in inverted coma's cause I can't really say I was actually aware of it at the time). Plus Tonks has always been one of my favourite side characters so obviously I loved seeing her with the person she canonically loved, and I still do. After more closely examining and getting into the marauder's era I also actively started shipping wolfster, the appeal of which you already perfectly explained. Thus I am grateful that I find being a poly shipper easy (plus it works in the text with Tonks and Lupin supporting each other after Sirius' death and falling in love). Also, gotta say I love the new hairstyle. It looks really cool!

Love your new hair! So cool! Thank you for talking about Wolfstar. Love them. I love this pairing AS MUCH as Tonks/Lupin! It would be really nice to see 1) a bisexual character 2) that a teenage love can be deep and meaningful, but sometimes it just ends, and people can find another love, as deep. (I'm tired of all the "there's only one soulmate for everybody" trope) It would be great to see it canon in Lupin's/Sirius' memory, and then Lupin/Tonks canon. Just to add to the real-esness of the human relationships, if that makes sense.

A wolfstar vid!!!! I'm so emo rn, thank you for taking the time to crate this content! 1. Yes, I've been shipping this for AGES. I was a kid when I first read HP, influenced by heteronormativity and such, so my shipping started when I dived into fandom & found loads of amazing fic. I hated the pairing at first, but over time I realized that it was my internalized homophobia speaking. R/S was a big part in helping me overcome that & come to terms with my own sexuality. 2. On the one hand, I'd love it if it became canon, mostly bc of the global impact it would cause to have a canon queer couple in the HP verse. On the other hand... I don't really trust JKR with this things. & let's face it it's never gonna happen with these two. She loves her idea of Lupin (read: straight) waay to much. I personally think that's why she made Remus/Tonks canon: she wanted these characters to be happy, and the "only" way to achieve that was through marriege & kids. Anyways, in either case, this ship couldn't be more meaningful to me than it already is. 3. I don't see how R/S could be made canon, given that the books & movies are over (unless you count confirmation outside of the texts) whereas Grindelore poses a very different case. I guess I wouldn't really have a problem with Grindelore being (more?) canon if we had more positive LGBT rep to outweight the negative implications that the ship has in regards of same-sex couples & gay people in general (evil characters, unhealthy relationships, etc). So idk where I fall on these question really. Once again: thank you!!!

Firstly, your hair is awesome! While Harry Potter fics were not the first fanfiction stories I ever read (I actaully started with Sailor Moon fics when I was about 12 lol), I didn't realize how well written they could be until I got into the Potterverse. I'm a huge Snarry and Drarry shipper, so Wolfstar has never been a big ship for me, but it's been in the back of my mind. When I was young and reading the books, I saw the Marauders as bullies, so it really soured the characters for me. Now that I'm in my early 30s, I can see characters in black/white labels. Because of this, I find Wolfstar to be much more sympathetic as a pairing. It would have been awesome for an LGBT couple to have been fully represented in the cannon, but like you said, romance was never really J.K's forte anyway. Don't get me started on the films though, or I'll be here all day. I like to think that Remus and Sirius were maybe each other's first love, but that's about it.

But since I saw it represented in fandom and re-read the books I found that I ship them hard. 2. Yes I wish it was canon but I don't need it to be. The meaning for me comes from their chemistry and their potential, so canon or not doesn't really makes a difference 3. If possible I would love both Wolfstar and Grindeldore to be canon. But that's just me enjoying tragic ships.

I'm a huge HP fan and shipper so you know I've got thoughts on WolfStar. I even switched from mobile to laptop for this lol 1) I suppose I'm a WolfStar shipper. When I first read the books I was pretty young and aspected all the canon pairs at face value. But as I grew older and entered the fandom, I was exposed to many many many ships. As stated in your video, I'm someone who enjoys the dynamic between Lupin and Sirrus, at least my imagined one. During the Marauder era I like to believe they were together for a time, but like many teenager romances, it ended. The Marauders were Lupins first friends, and I think a part of him was always afraid they'd leave him. First, due to him being a werewolf, and later due to some other personal fault, he attributed to himself. In response, I think young Remus couldn't bring himself to temper Sirius or James which led to them crossing into bullying at times. Hermione is a great contrast to Remus in this regard! She's never been afraid to tell either Ron or Harry that they were being stupid, which is why I've always been fine with her ending up with either Harry or Ron (but I am NOT about start on the epilogue). Therefore, I think young Remus would always hold his friends in such a high regard that a romantic relationship between Sirius and Remus would be on unequal footing. With Remus never truly feeling free to speak his mind, and Sirius feeling like he was always pushing or taking despite never getting pushback from Remus. Additionally, as a half-blood, Remus would've dealt with some period typical internalized homophobia that Sirius as a pureblood wouldn't understand. I think a relationship between the two would have naturally fizzled out. But a relationship as matured adults would be successful. Although, I headcanon that Sirius did the whole "Snape Trap" as an impulsive, angry breakup thing, but with INSTANT regret. But Remus' blowup afterward triggered a deeper friendship between the two, with some hesitation surrounding trust and secrets on Remus side. Which is why Remus would suspect Sirius would betray the Potter's before suspecting Peter. I think Remus would have wanted to start a romantic relationship with Sirius again. But Azkaban didn't give Sirius the same opportunity to mature as Lupin did. In addition to the lack of therapy Sirius really fucking needed after his family, a war, and being wrongfully imprisoned. I actually kind of like Tonks/Remus as end game because of how different it is from WolfStar and the different sort of arguments they would've had to work through together. 2) Do I wish it was canon? Tough question, because in my mind it is? Like growing up I've always assumed every character was bi until proven otherwise. From the first question, you can see how I've made WolfStar and Tonks/Remus canon in my head. But I think that's how I've always read it? Would I like J.K. Rowling to confirm it? I guess so, but I'm pretty sure her image and mine would differ and I'd just end up annoyed. Grindeldore has been made canon and there's no fighting that. I like it as canon. I've always seen it as one-sided on Dumbledore's side, but I could be made to believe feelings were present on both sides. Although, I really really really love manipulative bastard Grindelwald, because I like the idea of Dumbledore unknowingly mirroring him in his later years. So both are canon until proven otherwise, and people (including J. K. Rowling) actually remember people can be bisexual and biromantic (and even discover much later in life). But if it's never formally confirmed, it wouldn't matter because I've already prescribed meaning and author confirmation would be the equivalent to the cool kid in class finally nodding in my direction; unnecessary (because I already knew) but acceptable. P.S. I really like your look in this video. The red lipstick really pops and I'm always impressed by your cupid's bow. In addition, you pull off grey surprisingly well. The black "underlights" (are they called that? they seem like they'd be called that?) are a nice addition which makes me excited to see what you continue to do with your hair. The combination of everything including your glasses gives the impression of a badass librarian with a dash of immortality and supernatural combat powers (maybe it's fae? maybe she's born with? *shrug*). I can't remeber what else I was going to say. Probably a serenade or ode to POC with colored hair, and how much 6 years old me would have loved to see them because she was obsessed with Sailor Mercury and her bright blue hair. Ugh, can't function need teaaa and food? Maybe a bagel? Cereal sounds good? Probably will consume corn Keep doing what you do! Live Long And Prosper

I've been looking forward to this since you mentioned it on the livestream! Edit1: I too had a huge crush on Horcrux Tom Riddle from the movie! I remain unashamed! Edit2: I had no idea about the Tonks Remus first meeting/patronus thing! There are so many post Canon things I have yet to read. I just love storing all of it in my head! Edit3: Now that I've finished the video I shall make a new comment with my complete thoughts!

I'm a multi shipper and Remadora and Wolfstar have always meant a lot to me. Remadora was one of my first OTPs and Wolfstar is the first ship I found through fandom. I love them both for each their own reasons: Remadora with the amount of care and respect that was in a relationship that isn't portrayed anymore, and Wolfstar for the idea of a friend/support system being more, yet never really curing you (which Is an accurate depiction of mental illness in relationships). I also think it meant a lot to me as a new shipper who had just recently stumbled upon fan fiction/ fandom as well as it's subtlety in the series. Plus since I ship both of these ships, it made me feel closer to my favorite character/ that character I've related to ever, since I'm bisexual and with these ships Remus could be canonized as such as well. All in all, I just love both of these ships a lot and hate it when they clash negatively since they're both great.

I didn't ship anything that wasn't canon until about six months ago when I stumbled into a Wolfstar Discord server, and it's been a spiral since then. XD
@danielleklais37166 жыл бұрын
Okay, honestly, I didn't start shipping Wolfstar right away. I was big into Remus for a long time and started to write a fanfic of Siris Black's sister falling for him. It wasn't until I was about a third of the way through that I realized my character was basically a female Sirius. And then I went onto tumblr and I came across a post where there were gifs of a young Remus (Andrew Garfield, who was seen as the "ideal Marauder's Era Remus" while Ben Barnes was the "ideal Marauder's Era Sirius") and they were having some intense, deep conversation and in the end, I think Sirius professed his love. And I was like wow that's strange. Never thought of them as a couple. And, well, I kept coming across Wolfstar and eventually, I thought it was super freaking cute. And now I ship it so hard that it's one of my all time favorite OTPs

I am a wolfstar shipper and i like to think that it's cannon in the pining sense back in marauders era. I mean they all had an extremely close relationship with each other so it's not really a a stretch.
@chloecastano7464 жыл бұрын
Honestly, if you think about it tonks is kinda female Sirius both are rebels, from the black family ( disowned by them too) and are similar in many ways so Remus was attracted to female Sirius and specially AFTER Sirius died.

1. I'm honestly not very involved in the shipping community, but I'm extremely interested in the lore and trends behind it that you go into. It's part of why I love this channel. I think though, I have always liked Sirius and Remus together, I just didn't know it, or rather, didn't think about it. 2. I think it's canonisity would have improved the books in ways. I do think that it would have made life for Harry easier, with a family in two surrogate father figures. In that way it's an improvement. It would have been wonderful if he could have gone to live with them in the end for a bit after leaving the Dursleys behind forever. However, Rowling obviously intended for Harry to always go back to the Dursleys during summer time, except when he would go to the Weasleys. I really like the idea of Remus and Sirius in what it would mean to Harry, not necessarily what it would mean for the two of them. 3. I kinda think Grindledore is canon. Even if it was unrequited, Dumbledore definitely had a mad crush on him when they were younger. That's enough for me.

Wolfstar is one of my oldest ships and my most loved. I read the POA upon release as a child and I assumed they loved each other - this was how I read it as a young child and I never questioned it. I followed the ship developing in online fandoms through older fanfiction sites such as Azkaban's Lair, ff.net (back when it was popular) and LiveJournal communities. I was shocked when the Remus/Tonks romance was introduced but I do have my own theory on this and no-one can change my mind. I do believe they loved each other, had a history as far back as Hogwarts, and then rekindled their romance after POA - as we see their "intimacy" in book 5 (joint birthday presents? LIKE WHAT?). I believe Remus reluctantly moved on after Sirius' death and let himself deserve happiness again with Tonks.

I absolutely love this ship! I started shipping them when I began reading in between the lines both in the books and the movies. It just made sense to me! Honestly what made me fall in love with it was imagining all the fun, cute adventures they would have making mischief with the Marauders! I dont care whether my ships become canon or not because to me its more fun imagining fun scenerios, regardless of canon :) (I love Tonks and Remus too! He is bisexual in my headcanon :p)

I love ‘WolfStar’ but I also adore Tonks and Teddy. I always thought that they were together or maybe wanted to be during the Marauder era but then there was Azkaban and that made Remus deny and lock away any feelings. Then during PoA when they meet again he’s very happy to not have been betrayed by Sirius but has pushed his feelings down enough to continue denying them. So Tonks and him get married and have baby teddy. I enjoy when this happens in fics and only she dies or she leaves him because she knows he loves Sirius (because he’d definitely be alive in my fix it) and they get together post the war. And the epilogue is just ignored.

I shipped Sirius and Lupin before I even knew what shipping was, when I first read the books as an adolescent. Personally, I don’t need anything to be canon to make it more meaningful - if it had happened in text, there wouldn’t be the plethora of fanfiction we get to enjoy today. :) HOWEVER, while the death of Sirius absolutely crushed me, the death of Remus was, I believe, an utter waste of a character.

1. Yes, totally. I love my boys, they both have had such unhappy lives, and them finding love in each other makes me happy. Also puppies! 2.I got it from the fandom way before the films, and really it was sort of a : "Oh. Duh." moment. 3. I don't need things to be canon to enjoy them. Actually fans trying to get things to be canon can ruin things for me, especially if they harass actors or writers. I have that issue in the Supernatural fandom. I also really enjoy Sirius/Remus/James fics. ^^
@HellGirlDemon6 жыл бұрын
1. I don't know if I necessarily ship WolfStar. I do feel the chemistry between the characters, so I do see the appeal of shipping them. I just personally never really gravitated toward them as a pair. Their interactions stood out, but not that much. 2. Honestly, since I don't think Tonks' character really offered that much to the story anyway, it probably would have been more interesting to see WolfStar become canon. Or you know, at not have killed off Sirus #NeverForget #AlltheSalt Regardless, I will always have fanfiction to fix-it for me. 3. Grindeldore is interesting to me. It's so murky and left up to the imagination. I really want them to acknowledge it in the upcoming movies and not in the "oh, they were....'friends' " type of way. I think I like Grindeldore more than WolfStar, mostly because I'm a sucker for complex love/hate relationships, but If Lupin was truly closeted then there's also a lot to play with their as well. Personally, I just want well fleshed out relationships regardless of the pairing. So to answer, both. I would like both to be canon.
@thatfangirl11456 жыл бұрын
Hi! I don't ship wolfstar, but I like it and I'm quite fond of it, having it read in many jily fics as a backround or secondary ship. Bc of this, I don't mind it living in just fanon. It makes Remus being Bi a good headcanon and him being with Dora later on not a problem at all. I do think that it would have been an important thing in terms of representation, but Rowling would have never wrote that in the books. Dumbledore is example n1.
@tyalex_10446 жыл бұрын
When I was reading the books, I always saw Tonks as not being attracted to men. Whether she was gay, or asexual, idk. But I always got that feeling. But I don't know what to do because I fucking love Teddy. So i have a headcannon that Remus and Tonks were in love. But after the battle of Hogwarts, Remus survived, Tonks didn't, then eventually, Wolfstar get back together and raise Teddy

I started shipping them a year or two after reading the books, because I came across it in a Drarry fic. I do wish it had been canon, but that's more because I am an LGBT youth and I think growing up with a clearly shown gay couple in such a widespread series would have been really good for me. As for the last question, I think it would have been nice to show both, a healthy lgbt couple (Wolfstar) vs a not so healthy lgbt couple (Grindeldore) would have been so good...

I would love to see a video about Cedric/Harry here in ShippersGuide. As for the questions, 1 - Yes, I was and still am a Wolfstar shipper. 2 - I believe what made me ship them was their interactions in the third book and fifth book as well as seeing them as a couple in many fics back in the day. 3 - I do wish it was canon, BUT, that would mean killing two LGBTQIA+ characters, so... I would prefer it to be canon had the two not died. 4 - And I prefer it WAY more than Grindelore.

Q&a 14:30 1: yeah, I ship it. 2: probably since the prisoner of azkaban film, they had chemistry and I liked Gary Oldman before that (didn't recognise him tho, lol) 3: canon would be cool, it'd also make the musketeer dynamic more interesting and seeing Remus ' complex with his skin as a canon thing is an unfulfilled wish. 4: both, as many as possible
