I just read the first chapter of the first book in my life at the age of 22. I was raised in an Evangelical household that viewed Harry Potter as Satanic and witchcraft, so I missed out... If you mix all of these novels you have Harry Potter in its entirety.... Harry Potter is a nice story, but it's not original at all - the magic school, the platform, Harry and his owl, the magic, the creatures... All of it was already invented in these novels I just mentioned... So yes, it's no surprise that a single brain came up with Harry Potter - the surprise would be that it would need several brains to come up with it, when it's not that difficult. Just like some of her characters: Harry being mistreated by his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. Snape losing the love of his life. Neville having his parents tortured. Ron living in a poor family. Hermione being picked on for being a nerd. Jeez, there is a LOT of abuse in Harry Potter if you think about it. And all these characters made great accomplishments despite that they all had a miserable childhood.

I probably just watched more than five of your videos about Harry Potter series and this really makes me want to read/watch the series again! And the last time I read the books was the 7th book and that was about 13 years ago! And I realized I missed out on a lot of details or never quite paid attention to them and the lives of all the characters.. They're really fascinating and you did such a good job summarizing them! Thank you for sharing them. I think I'll go to the secondhand bookstore tomorrow to get my own series and start reading again ;)

I like The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, it does not go hind in hand, it is for adults but the morality of Dresden is evident as is his desire to protect people from supernatural evil. I hope soon the movie industry will do this series of books into a great movie series. just as they have done with the Harry Potter series and make these books also come alive on the big screen. If they do a good job it will also have a following, we love these imaginative worlds and the authors who create them! I am looking forward to more Magical Beasts and anything else coming out of JK Rowling's creative mind. Her books are so real that they take on a life of their own.

I am so inspired by this woman. Not just because of the brilliant story she made, but because she pulled herself out of darkness, and lots of people cannot do that. You can tell she’s strong, and never gave up her dream on what she wanted to do. She had some serious roadblocks in her path, unfortunate ones to be exact. But her relating her personal life so much to the Harry Potter series just shows how important it is to her. She’s a true Gem, and I can’t have nothing but underlying love for her.
