I am Bolivian, I do not have extensive knowledge about the culture of British royalty; but I was brought up to respect the customs and traditions of the place I visited or live (currently Sweden). It is a disgrace that a person, a woman who claims to be "a model of bravery demanding respect for her 'origin'" does not show the same respect for the family she has chosen to belong to, regardless of whether they are royalty or not. Every family is a culture and whether or not this person is a compulsive mythomaniac, they are also spoiled and ungrateful. Respect is chosen to the same extent that it is lavished. Very actress or not, very mixed race or not, it doesn't matter! I am a Latina living in Scandinavia. I have learned the customs, I respect and value them and I give them respect. My rights end where my responsibilities begin.

As an American, you would not be expected to curtsy. You have a President & you are not a ‘subject’ of a king/queen. @@debra7699 I read that if the Duke and Duchess titles are removed (which would be done via an act of Parliament), then H would retain and revert to the Princely title, thereby allowing his wife the right to be titled 'Princess.' The 'Prince' title could be revoked only under circumstances of treason. Alternatively, the title could be put into abeyance. It's all very complex.

Please everyone LISTEN UP the whole story of Meghan changing the dish soap commercial is getting on my last nerve. In our local school and so I am sure many schools around the nation, English and Creative Writing teachers gave their students this very writing assignment. Here in Georgia students were given an assignment of writing a formal letter to a company (or someone in local government etc). The letters could be one of praise or condemnation. One of the choices a few teachers here gave out was writing a protest letter against ☆ this very dish soap commercial. I can't remember but I believe it was a Procter and Gamble company. Our teachers got the idea from different writing teacher newsletters that were popular with teachers at that time. The initial suggestion was found in either Mother Jones Magazine or Ms. or Cosmopolitan. Our teacher here brought the article in for the students to see. It was asking women to write in to the company to protest the sexist language of the commercial. It even came with a sample letter that you could copy. The internet was in its infancy. This was pre Google/Yahoo so protests were still organized in this manner. So it is probably true that she wrote that letter but so did thousands of students across America. This twisting of the truth is classic Meghan Markel. She personally wasnt responsible for this change. Everytime I hear this story I want to set my hair on fire and then put the fire out with a baseball bat. I wish some journalists would just investigate this story and it be be easy to find the truth.

Our queen Maxima was a career woman in finance from Argentina who lived in NYC, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was an account manager in advertising in Australia, Prince Daniel of Sweden was a gym studio owner, Queen Letizia of Spain was a tv news anchor, and the list goes on. They were all hunted by the (international) press. She was told by the staff that the flowers she picked and beautifully arranged for a guest had to be thrown out because "these are funeral flowers!". That was the staff yelling at her. She had multiple miscarriages, her dad died only four years after she married Rainier. But like Queen Elizabeth II (and Catherine, who Grace has a lot in common with - both had *extreme* shyness to overcome) , she always represented the Principality beautifully and her loss was felt from Monaco to Hollywood to Pennsylvania, Oklahoma and all over the world.
