I can't tell you how satisfying it is to see two grown-ass men appreciating Harry Styles like this. Men like you cement his rockstar status, like it's not just 1 D fan-girlies anymore. This man is as smooth as they come and he has a very bright future ahead of him if he handles it right. P.S. Thanks for pointing out the bass player. This was a performance par excellence, I just couldn't pinpoint what that special ingredient was.

When I watched him perform this at the Grammy’s, my jaw dropped for all the reasons you guys said. His voice has always been smooth, silky and strong, but DAMN man, I did not expect the funky deliciousness of the bass, horns, sexy fun backup vocals, and yes, the fashion... rocking out the leather jacket shirtless with the flared matching pants. Dude owned it. The album is like a warm hug which felt so good after an incredibly tough year for all. He’s gone in one direction. His own. And it’s damn good.

@melissaobaugh75863 жыл бұрын
I just turned 49 and I am unabashedly a stan. I remember that time I showed my then fiance this group called One Direction on KZbin and forcibly made him watch vid after vid until he got it. As a talented musician in his right, i knew he would take Harry seriously once he witnessed this blossoming of something...so rare... something that only comes along once or twice (doubtful) in a generation. An already iconic figure, his iconic status in history is, imo, pre-determined. This juicy hunky man (and, nope, i give not two shits re the age difference) who is kind, considerate, loves children and ALL women regardless of age; who is sassy, smart, with great comedic timing, who takes himself just seriously enough to continuously work, work, work on honing his craft is a force to be reckoned with. To simply maintain your range as a singer takes dedication and discipline. To dramatically improve such vocal range by an octave and two notes in a span of roughly 3 years is truly amazing, and showcases his work ethic and dedication to his particular type of perfection. It is so beyond cool that we get to watch this a baker boy become a living legend....all first hand. His brilliance has barely been tapped...and that is what is so exciting...as avid fans and admirers, of a guy who genuinely cares about and loves his fans, we are literally living, literally becoming part of the story... Harry's story. PS. My wallpaper and lock screens are both of Harry too, lol. And ive got open pit tickets to at least one of `21 concerts. So, excited !
@jens3093 жыл бұрын
@@melissaobaugh7586 he is definitely what legends are made of! I'm so jealous that you have such great seats! I have tickets for an October show but not on the floor. Speaking of improving one's vocal range significantly, have you watched Niall's acoustic livestream he did for Guinness on St. Patrick's Day? He does a cover of U2's With or Without and throws out some high notes I don't think I've heard from him before. Gave me goosebumps!

Great review. I agree that I prefer this rendition to the original. Harry has this unique ability, talent, and charm that appeals to everyone. Seriously, I think he is an artist that will be around a very long time because of those indicators mentioned above reflecting he's a very real influencing star. The stage presence and performances indicate Harry's got this. Great smile, flirty, easy banter and engagement with audiences during concert performances--all qualities that show he has the magic to appeal to a broad audience.

Harry's winning the award for best pop solo performance is just obvious thing, it culdn't have gone other way and this performance just proves it. It was so new even though the song has been stuck in our heads for months now :D Yes, it was Billie vibing to WS, as the performance area was built so there were a few stages (4 I guess) facing each other so the artists would sing to each other, not to empty room. The ceremony itself was really nicely organized, it looked fresh and not as pompous as it sometimes gets. You definitely, definitely should make more reactions to Harry Styles, as well as other One Direction guys, believe it or not, all 5 of them a re making cool music, another proof it was never your typical boyband)) Maybe you should react to 1D as well, just a thought, no pressure :D
