Didn't get to see anyone wearing "crocs" this time - but certainly appreciated the sheer beauty of the Cape. Awesome video.

We have been to the Cape twice now. On each occasion we saw "crocs." One at Bathurst Bay & the other at Seisha. On the first trip I became a "ferry operator" partly because the ferry kotor had failed & the ferry was being towed each other way by a vehicle. When the northern operator didn't turn up, I had to unhitch from our trailer & pull the ferry to the northern side & before I could hitch up & drive onto the ferry taking the last spot so, I had to tow the ferry over a second time. That time I got to board the ferry to go home. On the second trip, my bride wanted to drive across the Cypress Creek bridge because I had done so on our first trip up so, we challenged all the women (6 of) to drive the bridge. All bar one drove the bridge on the way up, the 6th drove it on the way back south which proved to be more difficult for her to do because she was towing a trailer & nort to south was more difficult that way. I would be very easily tempted to go there again because there is still much to see that we haven't yet. If you can, go to Weipa & Chilli Beach because both places are very interesting & the track to Chilli Beach is exciting. Beware of crocs though. At Chilli Beach (while we were there) a young Irishman decided to swim around an island & came face to face with a juvenile croc. Both turned tail & fled! This is a true story!

I really loved watching this series and your take on cape you’re. It’s great to see what looks like a regular bunch of people without a massive budget and super expensive rigs doing cape York. I know you do have sponsorship deals but the feel of this video is what I like. It gives people like myself that would when I ever do cape York it would be in my daily driver with very budget setup the belief that it can be done by anyone. Thank you so much for making this series.

I've been loving the trip videos, and it's been great to see a more realistic and laid-back series on the OTT. It isn't always about taking the hardest lines, sometimes just getting there is enough. Did you ever see any crocs while on the OTT?

When we went to Punsand Bay the first time, we didn’t book. We turned up and BMW had booked out the entire campground for 2 days for the BMW GS Enduro Cape York Trip. Cape York is becoming so popular that you need to book everything to moment you decide that it might be a good idea to think about possibly going to Cape York. Also. I got your book for Christmas last year and I love it!

Just returned home from a road trip to Oregon for a family visit. While there we took a hike along a creek to see some water falls. On the way I (by force of nature, gravity and loss of friction) kinda like you did except I took a header into the water. Luckily for me there were no Crocs in this river. Loved this episode, especially the dodgy bridge. Thanks for sharing.
