Hi Harry, bit of advice, Chinese are generally implicit of expressing their thoughts, don't be arrogant and biased. Try to think in other people's position. I see one of the problem is you are still too young to understand some of the philosophy. I watched some of the couple travelers in China recently, they are very much open minded, and appreciated how the Chinese welcome everyone to their country, and how the country is running differently from other, and the Chinese are happy about their lives. Be mindful and humble.

Its more of a social experiment and interview because there is camera there. He isn't dating because he is a lonely person. Its more of a social experiment i think. He clearly isn't a lonely guy looking for love in a place he doesn't know much about. But he is fascinated by the concept of paying to date someone. Its unusual and he ran out of questions about it so he wanted to ask someone who spoke good English about their experience there in China. That's why he was happy to meet the guy who was part indian. She was scared to answer questions because of the indoctoration of the governments actions against those who do and most likely because of her contraversal occupation may be harassed or shutdown. It is for a vlog so its difficult to get the actual experience unless someone is randomly filming their excort service dates. Even if he had kissed her or something he was likely not to see her again because she would be on to the next date soon...

After a week in china, i thought your own experiences may change the way you felt about china and make you stop and question all the propaganda and sensationalism spread from the western media about china. As a Chinese who went to college in the US. I would argue people in the west are more brainwashed than people live in China. In terms of censorship, it bothers me in some occasions especially in the entertainment industry like movies and etc. But for protests and complaints about the government or public services , there are actually a lot of ways you could do that, for instance, dial 12345 or go to the relevant government offices. Often times problems will be solved quite efficiently. If you live long enough in China and actually learn the language and culture, you will probably have a more unbiased view. People only consume western media will have a hard time understanding the world in an objective way. Not only for China but for other countries as well especially non western countries.

Yes lol accent comes only from who you are mostly around. Not tied to the race. If his mother moved to india from china for a few years then her accident is gone and she has a child then everyone is speaking indian around him when he learns. Then he goes to China and only a few days and his accident is the same but after awhile will change with what he hears the most :)

The girl litterally answered one of his questions in sarcasm way like "yeah government would kill me if i answereed the question", she surely knew what was in Harry's mind and his expections, so she just answed like that. Harry didnt even realized that she was making fun about it. she was litterally laughing and said WTH in her mind when Harry was talking about the policeman passing by. Because that is just typical Western mindset and sterotype, I've met alot TBH. Believe or not, Chinese people trust their army and police.
