Ben, I really can't thank you enough for doing these videos five years ago. No one does an explanatory video better than you. GMT Games were taking final orders for Liberty & Death v3 mid 2023 and, because of your four part tutorial review, I bought a copy. GMT owe you.

In order for the British to Reward Loyalty in the Support phase, they need to have at least 1 Regular AND 1 Tory, as well as Control (6.4.1 in rules). The Patriots also need Control along with at least 1 Patriot unit to do Committees of Correspondence in the Support phase (6.4.2). Also, the French may use their Treaty of Alliance Brilliant Stroke card to trump any other Brilliant Stroke (written on the card itself but not mentioned in video).

Great video! It is helping me a lot with the process of understanding the rules. One question/clarification: when you say explain the process of revealing a Winter Quarters card, you say "swap", then, when explaining the rules "Winter is coming", you say "replace". Which one is it? I understand it is swap, since I do not reveal a new event card until the end of the Winter Phase and, without a card, I cannot tell which nation has to change leaders. Am I missing something?

You're correct. Page 20 of the rules: When a Winter Quarters card is turned up, stop play and swap it with the played card.

Hey Ben. At the 11:40 more I think there is a pretty significant error. You say that we need to recheck for victory at the end of the support phase (6.4). This is not correct. The Game End? statement is referring to the last campaign only only at this point the game is over if this is the last campaign... then you recheck for victory. You do not do this in earlier campaigns as I understand it.
