I submitted resign in 1999 after 23 years of job. Still I did not receive acceptance letter. My retirement date is also crossed in 2015. Now as per departmental letter of year 2019, my resign is not accepted till date. My PF is also withheld till date. I did not get any relief from tribunal and judiciary. At present I have approached to Hon'ble President. This is our India.

Bhai just go and resign and then prepare. If not resigning then join immediately. Unauthorised absence is very dangerous. They will spoil your career. They will impose minor and major penalties on you. During penalty period you cannot resign or apply for any other job. They may also terminate you from service if you are a probationer. Don't take it lightly.
