John, it's been a while since it happened but the game jam you ran with Corpsepile back in the beginning of 2021 truly kicked off that year for me. Making Spirit Cleaning with my friends and seeing it get really nice reception was a gift that kept on giving throughout the year (never had something I made reach 3000 downloads before), and has continued to inspire me to keep going with my passion.
