Hi Harstem. I keep trying to get one of my 'beat GM with stupid stuff' challenges accepted, so here's another one I thought long and hard about (lol). It's called 'the trivia man'. You play a normal game, but at least once every game minute you must type a trivia question in the chat. Which can have a simple yes/no answer, a year number or a single word or something. Something they are willing to answer. When they ignore you, you ask another question next minute. When they answer wrongly you answer "wrong no prize". When they answer correctly you answer "correct free zealot!" and then you a-move a single zealot into his base. The challenge here is that it costs you extra time to type in the question, the interaction with the opponent should be fun.

This is actually a pretty neat idea for a chat based challenge unlike the typical "tell your opponent exactly what you're doing at all times" but even still Harstem has a rule against using chat for stupid stuff in BGMWSS unfortunately

Hey, I watch tons of StarCraft 2 on KZbin, and this is series is probably my favorite that I’ve seen in a long time. I think it works well for me because the mistakes most of these guys make are mistakes I would make LOL. Your editing with the imbalance report in the beginning as well as build orders popping up on the side of the screen are excellent additions. Super entertaining and informative. Well done!

That much creep at diamond, you drop (so make more medivacs, so make more starports and barracks and marine/marauders), build a raven to save on scans, and spend the money without the build 4 on queue trick. Then drop, drop drop, drop drop drop, on mining/edge bases, rinse/repeat until zerg runs out of money. Then creep spread doesn't matter. Oh, and tanks. 2 more barracks and 12 more marines instead of floating 900 minerals before head on battle means winning.

That's not bad play from either side. They both played great. Zerg's creep spread was especially excellent and exceptional. You probably do play like this or worse if you're 4.2k, but this isn't bad play. Do you watch your own replays much? do you have other people point out bad things in replays?

Not sure how Harstem didn't notice how the "suckie ukkie" was able to get so many creep tumor kills. The zerg player was spreading 1-8 tumors from their host tumor in clumps. Not hard to rack up those kills with 2-8 tumors stacked next to each other. =p

Mass creep spread can be oppressive as hell but you sacrifice macro to do it, way too much APM. Zerg player was literally forgetting about their larvae. However if you can force the opponent on the defence (which is what you need for this to work) instead of going all in, then you just win through resource attrition. Terran player really needed burn his bank, max out their supply and commit.

i think you've just said, without wanting to. Terrans needs to build extra cc's, and then into OC's (therefore having less defense by having less planetary defenses), just to gain temporary vision. Protoss have to spend minerals to build observers, and keep usual low number of robos busy, instead of building immortals or anything else. In the meantime, zerg just multiplies tumours, which initially starts with a low cost of energy from queens who are extremly useful in the game already, and then it becomes free to multiply. IMBA as fuck.

The bottom line is that vision is a big advantage in this game, and zerg has it too easy. The fact that protoss and terran risk loosing units just to restrict zerg vision should tell you that it's imbalanced.

This game is a proof that Terran need some upgrades : liberators need to be able to attack structure, Marines need super stim pack from Nova but remove marauders stim pack; medivac need 2 target healing; where are the FIREBATS (not helions) and medics??? !

There are a few harder ones, but in most of them... you just a move them to win. As long as you know medic heals, and have a bit of vision (not sending 50 medics and 1 marine) you can win it only with marines and medics
