The Custom games in WC3 created many of the games and concepts we know and love today. There was a billion dollars worth if gaming companies just hiding in those moded games. Tower defense, MOBAS, Auto-chess, pvp survival. Sht was legendary. Riot games, Blizzard, dota 2, and early mobile gaming farmed those ideas for money.

I love that your doing requests again once in a while. I hav a thought and maybe someone can pass on this request to Grubby if he doesnt see this comment, but here it is. I would like to see Grubby play a high level try hard game like actually wait till he finds a high mmr player on wc3 champions, preferably against UD or Hu, or maybe even Orc, so here it is. Play normal meta style FS/TC and play the game your way, with only this in mind. Alot of Hu players when going MK second get both spells Bolt and Clap. I just wanna see him do the same with TC, so go FS/TC w/ TC having both Shockwave, and Warstomp, and yes i know thats alot of mana and tc doesnt have much, so try to attempt to get as many mana items on tc as possible and keep mana pots on him. I truly believe if u got TC to like 4 with shock/stomp lvl 2 and mana pots combined with Chainlightning would be mass aoe dmg plus the stun, i genuinely believe this could be effective at high level play style, altho it would require scoring some good item drops for mana and/or keep lotsa mana pots. Idk, what u guys think? Love ya Grubby keep making this amazing content, you and B2W are literally the only streamers i watch.

I'd like to see Grubby tower rush more with undead (seems pretty hard - challenging)? especially if Grubby plays high level opponents the nerub tower doesn't seem to do enough damage to be worthwhile for a tower rush (building multiple), so one needs to at least have spirit towers to make a worthwhile tower rush since Grubby got canibalize and since graveyard is required for spirit tower, maybe Grubby could build a graveyard near the opponents base, so his ghouls can harvest lumber and cannibalize near his opponents base, as well as giving him the ability to make spirit towers

The Nerubian Tower isn't for damage, but for debuffing opponent's army. So you want mostly Spirit Towers, but sprinkle in the occasional Nerubian Tower.

Grubby has and always will be WC3 player. He has played many many games but what we see the most over the years has been wc3 and hots. Wow may go the way of Dota 2 and we may never see or hear about it again for months

Oh are you done with OnlyFangs now? Is that whole thing over? For the record i wasn't fussed about you playing WoW. I really, really, really think that health bars has to be dropped from rts it makes it so un-enjoyable to watch and play the model itself should indicate how hurt it is, and then you select it to know more specific

that's an interesting idea, but in a lot of rts games the models are small, so it'd be hard to see details (that indicate how hurt a unit is) starcraft 1, when you select a group of units it kind of has what you say, where it shows damage in the bottom section. I think original warcraft3, if you didn't have an option box checked, then health bars only appeared when units were hurt?

@@justanobody0 imho, models should not be so small that you couldn't see details like that, or the small units should be extremely rare and have so low max hp that it doesn't really matter. I don't remember specifics about semi-old games, but in most old games they were (almost) always completely off (except during selection). Helped contribute to the feeling of experiencing a fantasy setting rather than playing a game :).

@@snuffeldjuret so, starcraft 1 and command and conquer 1 both wouldn't show healthbars unless the units were selected units wouldn't show damage but at least some buildings would (in both command and conquer and starcraft) ok, I looked at a video and it looks like warcraft 3 buildings show damage too also, warcraft 3 (at least the original version not reforged) there is a checkbox that says do not show healthbars, and the only way to see a health bar is either mouse over, or when your units are selected looking at the hud so warcraft 3 originally (and maybe reforged kept this option being avaiable), but warcraft3 has the strongest option for not seeing health bars on units I think the main thing for Grubby is that his priority is being competitive, and relies on seeing healthbars but warcraft3 can give the experience you say is best if a player has it enabled but yea, healthbars only when selected are command and conquer starcraft 1 and age of empires warcraft 2 is even more extreme, in the sense that there are no heatlhbars when selected, only in the hud (which is like warcraft3 with healthbars disabled)
