It is amazing how many ways Terrans can think up to lose with Hellbats... Almost impressive how determined they are to lose games by attacking with Hellbats. If they were just as determined to actually win the game they would win every WC...

There wasn't an intended Hellbat timing push or all-in, it was just a couple of leftover Hellions that got turned into Hellbats when he pushed with Marines and tanks and it is unclear how much they did because there were 6 of them at the start and then Harstem looked away from the push and when we came back there we 3 left and those 3 died without doing much... I am talking about builds like game 1, where the Terran tries some Hellbat timing push or all-in and gets completely slapped down... Those pushes are tried by every Terran Pro and they literally never win in pro play...

Hellbats are great early game units - didn't you hear how bunny won 5 games in a row using the exact same hellbat all in? The reason that this push failed is because Clem lost the medivac within the first 5 seconds. If he didn't do that, it was a free win The reason that hellbats are bad is because they take up your factory time. Essentially, producing hellbats delays your tank/mine production, and those are units that scale much harder than hellbats. The instant zerg gets any sort of tech (bane/hydra/roach/lurker), hellbats become obselete. They're slow, short ranged, and can't split, but without those units, and in small numbers early, they're quite strong

I don't remember a game where a pro beat another pro with a early Hellbat push, and I have seen them used a lot in GSL, Harstem casts and other random pro-games. Every single time it results in the Terran losing outright or being incredibly behind... They are probably great on Ladder and thus Terrans think they can actually do great, but when they come up against the pro's they always fail...

Honestly not even rogue would destroy clem like dark did in the past. He got destroyed in that Asus ROG but he's actually got a good record vs rogue. Hes played him a decent amount outside of what liquipedia says and he's beaten rogue 50/50 but dark just baffles clem.

In my humble opinion, I think HeroMarine is more of a solid/balanced player. Clem has his ups and downs.

Clem's downs are basically where Gabe's ups are. Both are great but Clem is clearly better and more successful, just look at this year's DH events. Cannot even compare.

Terran should just 2-3 rax every game in protest of this broke game. Terran has no chance vs Z in a macro game. Zerg is ridiculously imba. There is a reason pretty much all non Korean pros who actually win something all play Zerg except for clem.

They literally aren’t. Zerg wins like 70-80% of pro tvz final games. If it wasn’t for Maru it would be like 95% of all tournaments are won by Zerg.
