Man that tempest build was wild when I was watching the stream. I love the Captain's reaction to the overlord being sniped with three queens inside. I love design of the tempest. Such cool unit, unfortunately often a sitting duck, like a bc that just spent its teleport ability.

I love Dark waiting on that unburrow until Classic engages on the other side of the map. He can pop that off without looking, and Classic is forced to decide between saving his last probes or microing against the vipers/biles.

Dark getting hard supply blocked in game three at 158 then 174 *after* losing an all-in over floating 2K resources, then he just runs circles around Classic on the map. That Tempest rush? ? ? Love a game that pulls this sort of curveball 13 years into it's competitive existence. Amazing games to watch, all three! Cpt. I wonder if burrow would be good for the queens vs tempests as you could dodge shots with it. The queen burrows in .83 seconds and unburrows in 1, while the the tempest shoots every 2.3. The dropperlord unloads 1 queen per second so technically the dropperlord could be used for one queen to be faster but for two queens+, burrow is quicker. I bet the damage point stuff would make that not work though, if the tempest never shoots because the queen burrowed then it would still have its shot ready when it unburrows, whereas the droperlord can pick up the queen mid shot so the tempest has to reload the full 2.3 seconds before it can shoot again. Just have to pick up the correct queen.

Makes you wonder why pro’s don’t use it more like bots do. Can queens heal burrowed units?

Out of curiosity. When a unit is dropped on top of another does the dropped unit displace the others? Or IOT drop there must be free space underneath?

Sir look at the immortal drop play from 17:20 and until the next 4 seconds, and tell me if you notice anything odd about the DPS of this unit.

Do you mean damage point? i.e. the time it takes for a unit to get it's shot off

I mean damage per second, but sort of. It seems like picking up and dropping it is allowing it to shoot again sooner. I might be crazy though.
