It says do not charge in extreme hot or cold conditions,, but what if the mower is stored in a backyard shed and during those 90 degree days can you charge the batteries after mowing. Maybe wait until evening to charge them?

Great video. Can you possibly tell me the mower dimensions width length without the chute?
@HARTTools Жыл бұрын
With the side chute lifted the mower will fit through a 36 inch gate.
@Fix5750 Жыл бұрын
@@HARTTools it’s amazing that Hart is unable to answer a simple question. Fitting through a 36 inch gate does not provide dimensions. Would have purchased this mower if there was actually some info about it. It’s not in stores. No KZbin reviews. No website reviews. And you can’t get an answer to a simple question. Looks like an interesting product but can’t commit to a product that was rolled out as poorly as this one.

Walmart needs to sell replacement blades for their walk behind mowers in the store. They sell blades for gas mowers in the store why not Hart replacement blades?

What does not charging in extreme hot or cold mean? I am in a 4 season State, I would leave this in my shed all year long with the batteries in it, is that bad? What is the max weight to use the mower? What is the weight of the mower? If the yard is wet or maybe not wet will it be too heavy and leave tire tracks and rip up the grass. I do not have a big yard, but using a riding mower seems neat. Where I can find the instruction manual for this? Do I just leave the crate out in the garage when delivered? What is the overall dimensions on this? Thank you, looks like a nice mower. If I am missing answers to these please let me know, maybe I missed it on the website.

That would work great for my yard. Are those battery packs? I just picked up the brushless 20v trimmer and blower as it’s much lighter then my EGO stuff, since suffering a 277v three phase electrocution my left side has nerve damage and now disabled. The EGO will be going up for sale.

Yes! This mower has (2) 80V batteries stored inside so you will just have to plug in to charge.

I was working in the old jail of Tazewell County in the corner office, the corner said, hey Tom put two feet in the body so we have to do in zip you up, the chief said we won’t even have to leave our desks, I climbed up the ladder and started to cut the wire, the circuit from what I was told I completed it from the neutral went up my right arm burnt out my right ear drum, blew my left shoulder out, discharged out my mid back into a conduit, this did some spinal cord damage, I have nerve damage on my left side, memory and speech issues, the breaker was off, from what I was told that the circuit was being back feed from a shared neutral, my life changed that day, the county will not let me return to work, I was forced to resign from my position before we could settle, off work now two years with out pay, still jumping the hoops, can’t work or should say can’t find work with my injuries, was denied disability, I am physically and mentally exhausted, going through therapy from going to comet Suicide three time since 2019, sorry to ramble, when you’re only going to get half years pay and you get pushed to the curb it’s hard to understand why you’re treated that way, I ask why God didn’t take me that day and yet afraid that voice in my head will be too great some time,

@@tomspencer8717 That's dark, man... this is why I never touch wires even after having thrown the breaker and seeing that the lights/outlets don't work anymore UNTIL I use a "Non Contact Voltage Tester Pen" or voltmeter to check the actual voltage on the line. Shit happens in complicated circuits, and backfeeds are a real danger. Hope you can keep moving forward until you find peace.

For customers in cold weather locations, please answer the question about easily removing the battery packs during sub-zero winters. Or show a video of your technician removing and replacing them. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we do not have a video on this at the moment but appreciate hearing what you want to see. We recommend not charge battery in an area of extreme heat or cold. Batteries will charge best at temperatures from 50˚F to 100˚F.

Whoever is running this HART account said these batteries were not removable, but at 1:13 those look exactly like Ryobi's 80v removable battery. Unless those are glued in, they should be removable. I recommend verifying these can be taken out. In fact, the connectors look exactly the same as Ryobi's 80v, suggesting that they can be interchangeable.
@HARTTools2 жыл бұрын
This unit is equipped with (2) 80V batteries designed to stay inside the mower. This design allows you to plug the charger directly into the mower without having to take out the batteries.
@deuswulf61932 жыл бұрын
@@HARTTools They show a design with handles on them. If they are not meant to be taken out, or have no possibility of being taken out, why add handles? These are clearly the same 80v suitcase batteries Ryobi is using, without the LCD battery reader, and those are capable of being pulled out when necessary, thus the handles on top.
@nicks.83102 жыл бұрын
Yeah I am curious about this as well. It looks like the ryobi battery packs. But not much info other than here about it. What about when the batteries eventually go bad where would you get replacements? No way to purchase any like that unless I guess you talk to customer service. That’s what is keeping some people from purchasing this mower and hart not giving much info other than it’s 80v lithium battery.
@deuswulf61932 жыл бұрын
@@nicks.8310 On the Hart Tools website, under Customer Q & A, their support answered "Yes, the batteries can be removed if necessary." Since the manufacturer is the same as Ryobi, and the battery packs appear to be identical, with the premium additions removed (battery reader and decals), they should be interchangeable. The quick connect plugs look identical. Compare battery + plug on this video at the 1:12 mark, and the Ryobi via watch?v=-aD62OD7h8s at the 1:19 mark. I don't see any visible difference in the quick connect plugs for both battery and mower. I think they also realized the problem of having both the mowers start at around the same price point. Ryobi has since jacked up the price by an extra $1000 on all their 80v mowers, while Hart has a discount on theirs. The price difference alone would probably push some towards just grabbing the hart. Ryobi said they planned to have the 80v case batteries in other tools in the future, which would lead me to believe the packs should be able to be purchased separately at some point.

@@nicks.8310 These are not for purchase yet but they are covered with a 5 year warranty and can be replaced if anything were to be wrong with them.
