This inline 6 junkyard mustang is making a strong comeback! Hopefully we can work out all the "small" bugs and it will become road worthy!

I agree with the comments about your fuel in the oil problem being the pump. Seems like if it was blowing by the rings and filling the pan like you described there wouldn't be hardly enough compression to fire.

Check your fuel pump diaphragm if there is heaps of fuel in the oil

I had a '67 automatic Mustang, glass-packs, duals, chrome ends. Exhaust pipe go to rear of car. Find original parts. 10W-40 is normal oil. 30W is for lawn mowers.
