I loove the translyrics here, theyre cohesive and poetic and it expands on the original, which i interpret to be about this fear of growing up and changing into this lovely piece about just that, about leaving bitter memories behind and thats really beautiful

oh my god, this english cover is awesome The translation fits both rhyme and vibe of the original language, the voice singing is also very gentle. It feels almost more somber than the original the intro scratches my brain in a way I cant explain but its good

mv、mix、vocal……すべて1人でやっていると知って驚きました！素敵なドット絵と、日本語とは違う英語ならではのリズムだったりも所々楽しめて、何回もリピートしています👍👍 mv, mix, vocal ... I was surprised to know that I was doing it all by myself! I enjoyed the wonderful pixel art and the rhythm unique to English, which is different from Japanese, and I repeat it many times 👍👍 (I used translation machine！)

goddamn this cover is good!! im kind of obsessed with 2:57-3:03 in particular i love your translyrics and how you made the vagueness of the original lines into a more cohesive story, one thats far easier for me to understand than the original at least! especially the chorus ("shutting in im shutting in the memory so that this sweet-as-candy cute-as-can-be kid can live a daydream"!!) and the final lines (these lyrics flow SO well how), those are probably going to be stuck in my head whenever i listen to apricot. the mv is so cool and its just the cherry on top!! thank you for this beautiful cover omg

I have had this and the original on loop non stop, this song is seriously so damn great. Iyowa executed the themes in the lyrics, art and composition so fucking perfectly, such a great song about growing up and letting the child inside us go. I think it’s a song a lot of us needed. Your amazing trans lyrics really captures it’s brilliance, and makes it such a joy to listen to in English! This is a fantastic cover!! When I first saw this I wasn’t really in the mood to listen to an eng cover but then I recognized your username from some other videos and I knew it wouldn’t disappoint. Love the translyrics and your voice, both suit the song really well. And I love the art style and your MV as well, pixel art supremacy lol, it looks amazing! Fits the atmosphere of the song well (and is super aesthetically pleasing...i love the blink animation haha). I like the little details too, like how the character seems slightly older at the end. Plus, looking at the date the original was posted, you did this whole cover impressively fast!! Great job on this, thank you for sharing.

Even by hearing the english dub of this song, I am still not quite sure on what it is about. From my vague understanding, I guess it's about hating yourself? It's more so, from what i can gather, about letting your childhood and child-self go, and growing from that. Finding a sense of self outside of what you thought was important as a child. They broke the mirror but i think it's more of a metaphor lol. The character in the original and in my MV gets older throughout the video too :0 there are also lines abt losing innocence and stuff so i really went with the "letting go of ur childhood" interpretation LOL Iyowa is a very complex artist lol.
