This song is produced and written so incredibly well. I love it so much. It's clearly related to "I Am Taboo" at least in some fashion because the black void is in both and also Taboo girl makes an appearance at the end when she rocks Golden Girl's shit.
The song clearly talks about someone being shot, so maybe the darkness is the sadness of losing a loved one or something??? Who knows.

My personal interpretation is that instead of being unable to move on from someone else's death, the girl couldn't come to terms with HER own death. The gal from "I am Taboo" (Who is also a ghost) is trying to snap her out of it. I could be wrong but that's just my thoughts on it. There's probably more stuff that I missed, but that's okay.
