👸HARUNA 🥁⭐🏆 In-the-pocket speed/power/thrash...my favorite metal drummer and an inspiration. It's rare to hear a drummer that can deliver the rests and spirts in her peddle work that perfectly accent the rhythm at these insane BPMs. That plus, her ability to add such tasteful fills along with that dynamic cymbal work she does while staying so elegantly in the pocket that sets her apart. It's her signature touch and it can go unnoticed to the untrained ear. The absolute epitome of how to service the band...she's got nothing to prove to anyone. 🤘🐺🤘

Very well said! And I absolutely agree. She finds ways to have fun while playing at those insane BPMs, and I think it shows in her near-constant smile. And she is the only drummer I've heard who can use so many cymbal accents without cluttering up her sound. I lost my 🤎to all of the ladies, for different reasons, but Haruna is the daughter I wish I had. If there was a picture of かわいい in the Japanese dictionary it would surely be Haruna 🙂. 🤘🐺🤘

As far is i know she used to have a regular stack, thats what you see on the Five of a Kind show and all before. Starting with the Heavy Metal Never Dies she got that chopper you see there, she was really happy to get it and tweeted. By the way a couple days later she tweeted this again but with the song on top, and congratulated all the fans who guessed the song on this video!! In my view, right from the outset, the big giveaway that they weren’t changing image was present in Bravehearted (short version). Firstly, although black, they were quite obviously their own clothes. In fact I’ve seen photos of Miyako and Asami in that clothing elsewhere (separately). And although Lovebites logo was black on the “wolves return” caption, it was white on the “stay tuned” caption. And the biggest giveaway of all was a couple of weeks before when Miyako unveiled her new guitar strap, bespoke. It was In gold and white. Oh and I typed “hi from the U.K.” and she read it on her phone (out loud, sort of) looked at camera, waved and said “Hi”. Needless to say I became a 15 year old again for a few seconds. When Haruna posted this video she asked everyone to guess what track it was. I had no idea, although the way the clip begins I ought to have known. Bravehearted. Amazing how it sounds taken out of context.

Ahhh . . . Haruna . . . my 🤎. Looks like the 'bob' wasn't enough, so she died her hair purple! I KNEW you would notice that off-beat triplet on the doubles🙂. Her drumming is not only Awesome, but very creative - she is amazing at finding ways to add interesting beats playing @ 200+bpm. If you listen close, she rarely 'repeats' recurring fills in songs, but makes each one unique. I Love their new outfit picture. Miyako looks Mysterious, Midori looks even More Bad-ass, Asami - 'Yes, I LOOK innocent', Haruna looks Inscrutably Kawaii, and Fami looks unexpectedly Fierce. Now I just need to figure out how to make a proxy account so I can order Judgement Day (with the T-shirt) and get it shipped to the US.

Haruna did a series of shorts reels on Instagram where she played along with "Rising," "Shadowmaker," and two parts of "Glory to the World." At the beginning of the first part of GttW, she makes a gesture toward the chopper like she's debuting it for us. I put those clips in a video on my meager channel, though I would like to redo that video when I get around to getting better video capture software.

🤘🐺🤘Haruna🥁Ride for Vengeance Tour 2021🤘 The drum set was made by Pearl, with Crystal Beat bass drum and floor toms, Reference Pure toms, and Reference Series snares. Only the front head of the tom is stretched. In addition, all drums are equipped with Roland triggers, and the sound is created by mixing the sound using the Roland TM-2 and TM-6 PRO modules with the live mic'd sound. The kick pedal was a Pearl Eliminator SOLO “RED” Double Pedal, and the beater was a Pearl Quad Beater B-250QB plastic vertical R side. The cymbals are basically Sabian, from the left hand side: B8X O-Zone 16″, AA Star China Splash 10″, HHX Evolution Hi-Hats 14″, AA China Splash 8″, HHX Evolution China 14″, AAX Thin Crash 17 ″, HHX Evolutin Splash 10″, AA Holy China 19″, HHX Complex Thin Crash 18″, Meinl HCS Bell 8″, AAX Splash 10″/AAX O-Zone Splash 12″ stack, AAX Heavy Ride 20 ″, Zildjian FX ZIL-Bel 9.5″, and AAX Chinese 20″.The stick is Vic Firth 5AN.🥁(stagegear.jp)

Yes the chopper is new. She was talking about it while Lovebites was on hiatus. Very awesome to see them returning this quickly. Hopefully well see new music video promoting the new album as they always do. I was thinking they already had an album planned and written while on hiatus and just needed a bass player and looks like that was the case. Miyako cant sit still that long without writing music lol. Also excited to see the audition process documentary showing footage of Fami before she was chosen that's going to be included as a bonus in the new album

Yes, I'm salivating over getting that new MV! I am personally convinced that we WILL hear Fami's influence on the new material. Bass players tend to write their own bass lines (as well they should), with input from the rest of the band. Her dad being a Metal musician has exposed her to Metal her whole life.

In my comment on the last video, I wrote in my comment that I was a little hopeful that a new LOVEBITES studio album would be out soon, since the LOVEBITES studio album will be released between October and January. When I saw the announcement of the new album release in February, I was so happy that I shouted out. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer. I am looking forward to it too much. I'm sure a few music videos for the new songs will be released before the new album is released, so I'm really looking forward to that too.　🤘🐺🎸

My "Oh, THAT guy!" comment... "BraveheaRted" not "BRAVEHEATED" (!) & surprised you didn't notice that the sound is out of sync on your presentation of Haruna's drumming video. Vividly apparent at the end when she both-hands double-hits before & after spinning her Star Cymbal. It is in sync on KARI H video linked in your description. btw, the vid with the original band recording overlaid is on her t w I cannot link here as u2b will delete comment. One other thing, though I understand the motive in using "Amazon" it is the WORST corporate-monopoly-business-model DESTROYING 'free markets' across the entire planet! Promoting them results in fewer & fewer marketing & purchase options to BUY ANYTHING, putting more & more POWER in the hands of a fewer & fewer people & 'corporate-persons' that CARE NOTHING for flesh & blood humans and our best interests, or our interests at all. I would expect you know this. Please find alternatives to at least ADD other options, or tell us, "I support INEQUALITY & monopoly-businesses BY CHOICE" which is what your current method is doing. As I said, I understand 'why' people use Amazon (to buy & sell), for me their CRUSHING of independent businesses outweighs (negatively) any 'convenience' that they could ever offer. Ex Theater Roppongi, where will the concerts take place, how many people can accommodate? 1700? Or less? For some reason, management does not organize a hall for 5000-7000 spectators.🤔 LOVEBITES will easily gather so many spectators in Tokyo for their concert

Agreed. At first my wife and I were thinking of buying tickets for this as we haven't been to Tokyo yet (Sapporo and Yokohama were our first two destinations in Japan), but then I looked into the venue and saw how small it is. That said, it's a place they've been to before as "Invitation to the Theater" was recorded there, so I wonder if they're planning to record Fami's debut and release it as their next live.

And I also believe that there will be a 'Judgement Day Tour' announced soon as well - also their pattern. I just hope they add a US Tour to their pattern this time🙂. Two shows could be Brilliant - same stage setup - they record both and use the best version of each song to put on the Concert Video. I'm glad you've been able to get to Japan. I'm still trying to fit a trip to Japan into my Retirement budget.

It helps that my one of my best friends that I've known since high school is a flight attendant who can get good discounts, that her husband is fluent in Japanese, and that my wife and I are doctors. We went to Sapporo because I wanted to see the Snow Festival and Yokohama because we all wanted to surf with Mt. Fuji in the distance.
