This was a great experiment. Though family members might know, by our actions, that we love them, they should never have to suspect that something is “wrong”, when you express your love, verbally. (Some won’t assume, so tell them, before it’s too late.) 🌸🌸🌸 A bit of advice: 1.) Don’t say it, unless it’s genuine 2.) Don’t say it so often, that it begins to lose its power.

Lol My son is gonna be 30, very buff, extremely handsome, has his own company with employees in different parts of the world, he is a very deep thinker with a great sense of humor (yes females love him) and most of the time I call him "honey". He is my first baby and he means everything to me. It's sometimes hard for me to NOT call him honey! lol Sometimes I will say "Son" or call him by his name or nickname, but usually honey. I remember one of the times when he visited we took a nap together and I snuggled for a little bit and his arms and shoulders were so big, which was just funny that my beautiful boy was now this big man, but I will never forget it. We used to talk sometimes for hours but now that he has his own company we don't as much, but I tell him that I love him all the time! His laugh still makes me happy. Just now thinking about it makes me 😊. So yeah, I don't know about other dads but my kids will always be my babies! I have NO problem saying that in front of his friends, ever and he will say it back. It should not be a big deal. Sadly though, I just lost my daughter and I don't know how I will keep living. I’m African, Sierra Leonean to be precise and our parents aren’t really verbally expressive with the words such as “I love you” or anything where I’m from mainly cause of their childhood, and so they’d rather show that they love us than actually say it. So I was really touched by some of their parents responses. It’s so weird for me to say “i love you” to my parents and vice versa but it doesn’t change the fact we do love each other very very much.

Sorry to hear that young man, but I'm sure that you are very loveable! Some parents unfortunately were not shown a lot of love or it wasn't expressed much to them or culturally they just don't do it, but I'm pretty sure that your parents do love you even if they don't express it. Though it may be tough to enbrace, try to let down your walls and first love yourself because internal negative talk is soooo destructive! Tonight before you go to bed, please look in your bathroom mirror and just stand there for a moment and say "I LOVE You, I really do love you". You might find it uncomfortable to do and extremely hard to believe, but you are very special and deserve to hear it. No matter what happened in your childhood growing up, last year, last month, last week or yesterday, you are right here, right now and so FORGET about the past and from here on out tell yourself that (EVEN if you don't believe it). I guarantee that if you find a picture of yourself as a kid you will know without a doubt how loveable you were. So, let me make one small change to my request. First find a couple of pictures from maybe 3 up to 10. First look at the pictures of that boy. Imagine that you went through a time machine. Would you let anyone say anything bad to that kid? Would you let anyone hurt that precious child? Will you let ANYONE, even yourself, hurt that child? NEVER! Mentally for the moment, separate yourself from the picture of that kid and tell him how you feel about him and what made him so special. Ask him what dreams he has and what would he want to do if he could do whatever he wanted. Tell him how much you want what's best for him and how you will do everything from now on that you can do to protect and make him happy! THEN look up at the mirror and remind yourself that you are that little boy and that from here on out you ARE not going let anyone's comments bring him down. From today you are going to start showing him more love cause his dreams and aspirations are the best ideas you have ever heard. Tomorrow and each day for AT LEAST the next month, I want you to take at least 5 minutes every morning and look at those pictures and maybe a few more that you find. TELL THAT KID how amazing he is and that you are gonna help him have the most amazing future. Then look at yourself and say I am Smart I am Handsome I deserve the best future I am COMPLETELY loveable I get to start creating the life that I deserve And there is nothing that I can't learn! Wait and see what is going to happen. Anyways, sorry for going into "Dad Mode" but I believe in you. And as a Father, I am gonna kindly ask you to respond back and let me know that you did what I asked after you make it 7 days consecutively. Lol okay And that goes for anyone else, female or male that is willing to try my request. Let me know that you made it 7 days in a row and tell me how you start to feel. Don't be embarrassed, that child in you deserves it! Pops

Awe... Just saying "I love you" to your parents or to your love one, you'll make their day tbh :] Just saying a word I love you changes everything...

So although I’m just now stumbling across your channel as well as this particular video, I must say this made my heart soooooooo incredibly happy!!! 🙂❤️🥰 My sons & I are close & it doesn’t matter if they’re in public or at home along with it not mattering if their friends or girlfriends are over, they always say *I LOVE YOU* while they also give me a hug……..SOOOOOOOO……..I feel pretty blessed that I have my two sons who love me unconditionally which makes me feel super proud as well. ❤
