A beautiful carol, one of my favourites, always sung so beautifully sung. Thank you to John Rutter for writing this and so much more. What a talented man. Has he been knighted? If not he should be. Thank you so much John.

John Rutter, arguably England’s greatest living composer. This rendition is quite slow but beautifully sung nonetheless. And correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t they using English accents here? Would love to hear Libera perform this carol using their alumni tenors as well as the usual trebles.

You said it right, though I prefer listening more to the King College Choir's rendition.

Their music direction is so good, isn't it? I think they're using an "ah" vowel to make the long sound, which ends up making the work a lot clearer and the pitch a lot cleaner.
