Cross examination of the rebuttal witness was wild! The defense attorney wasn't helping his client at all. He was digging the grave deeper and deeper for her. Meanwhile the prosecution was just sitting back quietly and letting it all play out. Haha! Respect to the witness for staying so calm and collected. The defense attorney almost had a meltdown!

Pharmacists are considered public health stakeholders. She used her status as a pharmacist to fleece people, which demands the maximum punishment. Also, as a pharmacist, she had a higher medical duty to render care to her unconscious husband. Did the prosecutor underline this fact?

Leaving aside the atrocious actions of this woman, I still don't know about this murder. I think it was very wise to add the manslaughter charge, especially if it's involuntary manslaughter (can anyone tell me if that's right?) That really makes sense to me on account of the nothing she did to get emergency services for her husband who was unconscious all day. That is just unthinkable to me.

It sort of surprises me she was able to trick SOOO many people. It sounded really way too good to be true. They were very trusting people. And that she was able to prevent people from calling 911 or taking him in. Only when the one guy came over he took control (too bad he didn’t come earlier that day). I think she played the pious Christian women role and they believed in her faith to God.

They added involuntary manslaughter to the charges. Which was suggested by the defense which I think was a mistake on their part to offer it. I think she’s guilty but probably would’ve at least gotten a hung jury. But… she could be convicted of involuntary just for the fact she didn’t get him to the hospital. Who knows? We will find out.
