I live in a poor mountainous area of Vietnam.

Apples grow in places with colder winters, and I don't know if there are any that will grow in such a tropical area. Citrus is a great idea. The fruit trees he has (bananas, jackfruit, papayas) are ones he's found in his local forest, though, and he may want to stick to that.

@@DianeGraft the bananas most likely arent all from the local forests, in the laos people have many hybrid bananas and seedless varieties, over there they really love bananas as do most tropical parts of the world! Every tropical part of the world there are cultivated varieties of bananas that dont grow native but look similar to native bananas!

Hi Duong, great kitchen wall! You can make a simple paint called whitewash or limewash with lime powder and water. It will kill bacteria to improve the smell, and also it reflects light to make the kitchen brighter. It gets more bright after days and weeks as it cures slowly. It is also ideal on stone walls and earth walls like your house.

i am loveing the smaller more frequent videos Duong great job. a small surgestion for the kitchen roof or any other roofs you make, try useing bamboo split in half and layer them so the lock together and then use a wide piece over the crest of the roof.

Incidentally, the best way I know to protect young plants from chickens is to surround them with flat stones. Of course if you surround chickens with flat stones you'll probably just get some funny looks and the usual chatter. :)

Duong, have you considered planting barley? It's a great food stuff and I read that when the stalks decompose they produce peroxide, which will kill the algae in your fish pond, but is harmless to fish. Then we can see all of your fish!
