I got this game for my 6th or 7th Christmas. This was my favorite game of all time forever. It’s such a classic and new Harvest Moons/Story of Seasons are all also great but haven’t lived up to the nostalgia for me. But I’m so spoiled with inventory in newer games I can’t go back.

ALSO I want to give you some game changing advice for your next playthrough. Get the bottle at the flower festival from Jeff and get the wine cellar event with Karen and then you can just stand in their basement and use your tools, keep drinking wine to negate the energy spent and you'll build your alcohol tolerance to beat everyone at the New Years event, which increases their affection towards you!

I got this game for my 12th birthday after begging my parents for months because I had played the SNES one so much. HM64 was the first game I ever pulled an all nighter for, I just couldn't stop playing.

I got a copy of this game for $40 online, practically brand new and it was authentic, I have checked haha. I think this is easily my favorite Harvest Moon, even with all the issues. I am glad to see that you ended up liking it quite a bit. I for one like the shorter days, once you get a good rhythm going it feels like you can accomplish a lot in the little time given. Popuri was also my most recent wife, she's easily the best in the game.

I have to admit that I have problems following changing lore about Mineral Town villagers in each entry - who is whose child, their rival, etc. I grew up with FoMT and it gets confusing hah

I’d so love a review of a trio of towns and tale of two towns I have trio of towns but I always feel like I must be missing something with these old games and I wanna buy tale of two towns but I know nothing about it other then it’s a story of seasons game so I want it 😂
