I uploaded the missing part as a separate video : Fixing Stripped Bolts | The Missing Ending | Vlog 337 Pt 2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJDLan53l9memMk Apologies guys, looks like video didn’t load properly and missed the last 4 minutes, basically Brad re threaded the bolt holes with the helicoil so maybe not the most exciting thing to miss out on😂😂

That sprayer wheel is genius Brad. Love the weight saving cutouts. Keep us informed when you sort a lighter, weaker spring. 👍

Glad to see you back at it MATT. BRAD if that iMax strut is too heavy then check with one of the wreckers in Moree for the smallest car they have and grab the struts off that. You want a very small car so it weighs the least weight and therefore have the lightest suspension system.

Camera troubles I guess but you're prepared cause I've already watched the follow up. So many fickle things to attend to on a farm, it's great that you are all so competent.

Computer Spray used to put what looked like plastic bike wheels out on their boom to do what you are doing Brad.

I just look at a tap sideways, and it snaps. Brad jams an impact drill on it with no problems. 😊

If you want to make the suspension softer, make a trailing arm, and mount the strut part way along the trailing arm.
@thejacksonbrothers3 күн бұрын
@@EricaMTB that would be ideal but the spray pattern would be in the road, it also folds that way🤔

Hey Brad Make a trailing arm on the boom sprayer and use an airbag setup you can raise/ lower using air and control from the cab
@daylightcaper8123 күн бұрын
he thinks farmers have a spare month at harvest time.
@thejacksonbrothers3 күн бұрын
@@davidholdstock886 unfortunately a trailing arm would interfere with the spray pattern and also the fold mechanism but it would be cool

Red E Ag (youtube channel of the US seeding equipment parts maker Red E Ag performance parts) toured Australia earlier this year looking at where their parts were being used Down Under. part 3 youtube video title 'How this Australian company is INNOVATING to help farmers'. The series looks at a few larger type seed drills & (Bougault & JD) air cart setups and modifications/ upgrades/ parts replaced etc.

Brad, how's the working dog? Herding wheat yet?
@christhomas0893 күн бұрын
What wheat varieties do you guys grow up there? We are in the southern Riverina and had flanker, raider, illabo and kittyhawk this year. I think that rain event you showed in this video stopped our harvest for about a week and we only able to get finished last Friday.
@charleshodgson8073 күн бұрын
Poor design on the boom support wheel, if it hits a big rock the geometry will tend to make it twist under the boom ,if it's mounted on the the rear side on a trailing link ,more inclined to ride over the obstacles than twist the boom .
