RF currently carry out *raids* close to urban centres like Kostiantynivka so that civilians pack their things and go. However, the *front line* is still reasonably far away(10 km from Kostiantynivka, 10 km from Pokrovsk, 10 km from Sloviansk...) . If the front line was too close too fast, you would get panic like Pokrovsk. Then RF could not storm the city anyway while the civilians are still inside. "Waiters" are good PR for a while but no, we do not want to see that. RF are not animals.

It has been like that from the start. Footage of dead russian soldiers was evidence of complete russian control in a 500 m radius of the dead and destroyed vehicles. Sometimes russian drone attacks qualify as russian control too. Ukrainian footage is edited and always leads to ukrainian defeat, and they were forced to move back. No country will ever admit that their N number of missiles were intercepted. No ballistic missile will be intercepted for sure, may be cruise or rockets etc. To intercept a single ballistic you need to throw at keast 4-5 intercepting missiles of air defense system.

Not quite. He is what you call a dunghill. I found out last month he is building a beach home in my coastal town. The now King of England has several decades had a whole subdivision complex in the next town 10 miles north of here complete with Polo field and horse stable’s. It’s name is “Windsor”. My husband has built many of the mansions there. At least 40 of them. That’s not where Zelensky is building his home though.

Re Prechystivka - isn't it more likely that rather than head directly north the Russians would mount an offensive against Velyka Novosilka, then northwards towards Pokrovsk, which could both put and end to the Urozhaine etc engagements and present a line of attack west of Kurakhova reservoir via Kostiantynopil and onwards towards Pokrovsk. It would also entrap a large amount of Ukrainian forces.

I believe that's the breakaway state of Transnistria. Russian troops are stationed there but Transnistria is not officially part of the current conflict so there really is little to say in that part of the map.
