It was a US backed coup. Although there were obviously corrupt politicians, oligarchs and Banderites involved, many good people in Ukraine had no idea of the sinister forces that were behind the Maidan. I warned 1 of my Ukrainian friends about how it would lead to what's happening now. She was shocked, she and many of her friends naively thought it would lead to peace, prosperity and a quality of life similar to that of Western Europe or the US

Vesyoloye (the translation is closer to “joyful” than “funny” btw) isn’t the only town in this war with an ironic name. Here are a few others: - Russkya Konopelka can be roughly translated as “The Russian place where marijuana is grown”. - Spirne (Spornoye in Russian) means “contested”. Hostre (Ostroye in Russian) means either “sharp” or “spicy” (depending on the context). Klischiivka (Klescheevka in Russian) can be roughly translated as “place of the pincers”. Ukrainsk (same in both Russian and Ukrainian) means “Ukrainian place”. Pobjeda means “victory” in Russian (but not in Ukrainian).

You are right, but Dima means *active participation* ; US troops, US/UK no-fly zone, it won't be "NATO" as Germany, Italy, and the rest will never join, but US/UK/Poland will. However it'll never happen as Biden cannot start a war without Congressional Authorization and two months before an election you think he's going to go to Congress and argue why American lives should be spent? Keep dreaming...

The village name "Veseloye" more closely translates in English as "Joyful," not "Funny" as Dima noted at the end. Funny is closer to "Smeshnoye" which is not really the intent of the village's name.

Idee für Russland Wie wäre es wenn ihr eine Art Drohnenträger baut der sagen wir mal 8-12 Drohnen in Grosse Höhen trägt und diese dann über dem Zielgebiet aus klingt immernoch in großer Höhe navigieren die Drohnen exakt über das Ziel bevor sie dann mit einer Zündung an Geschwindigkeit zunehmend direkt von oben in dem Ziel-Objekt einschlägt . Die Drohnenträger können auch mit sagen wir mal jeweils 50 Stück in der Umlaufbahn platziert werden um die Zeitspanne von der Entscheidung bis zur Zerstörung zu minimieren. Coal mines have slab hills, which provide excellent firing positions to control a wide area. Coal mines have generally excellent fortifications build in as well.

Thank you for this information, I do not doubt its veracity. Standard NAZI Ukrainian tactics supported by NATO forces involved on the ground to place civilian human shields in harms way. Both parties involved commit war crimes in doing so. Says everything about NATO.
