I started my seeds late like a month ago. Today is September 10th. I got the idea of still letting it grow until the first Frost which should be the second week of October. Then I thought about digging it up bring it inside and put it in a pot to grow in front of a sunny Southern window.

It might be a bit late this year, I’m also not sure how well it will do if transplanted. Maybe try starting it late spring/early summer next year. Good luck!
