Oh man I love stinging nettle tea with Labrador tea leaves ,mint and honey.I drink it every night . We picked it in Grande Cache where we live when they were just popping up. We dried it in our greenhouse. We bought those hanging mesh bins and it is awesome! Thanks for the knowledge you share . Can’t wait to see your burn morels season 2023👍😊

Beautiful area to work in and awesome drone footage. Your harvest was much bigger than mine today, I only got a small container of cherry tomatoes. It was 90F and too hot for the plants to produce more so shortly I will be buying for my salads again. :( Thanks so much.

Hi again, hope you're all well. Don't you ever rest? What do you do with all that nettle? Here in Greece we make pies with them along with spinach. I've never actually had nettle tea, must give it a try. I was wondering if you could help me. I need to buy an inexpensive, but good, generator enough for a fridge, washing machine and a few lights (also one that doesn't make a lot of noise). What's next on your list for harvesting? Bye for now.

Hi Helen, hope things are good over in Greece. Nettle tea is nutrition and energizing and we often drink it before a long day of harvesting. If you’re looking for a quiet generator looking for one with a “whisper motor.” They will be quite a bit less noisy, in terms of brand and cost, I have no idea what the values are in Greece. We currently use a firman generator and it has been good so far, Honda also makes good generators but they are often a bit on the expensive side. Good luck! :)

@@northernwildharvest You might have heard but Greece is on fire. Rhodes has been devastated, many tourists had to be evacuated, hotels and houses were burnt to the ground. Same with Coufu and many other areas. We've been having a big heat wave with temps reaching 44 celcius in some areas. God willing it will break soon. Thanks for your help with the generator. Bye for now.

Hope you are keeping safe and that temps come down. Best of luck with the generator.

I hear that cream of nettle soup is good. Ive had it fried in butter. Tasted a little stronger then spinach but similar. We harvested it in early June, maybe to late?

If you’re harvesting nettles fresh for cooking, they are better as young shoots. Depending on the spot they might be starting to flower in June. Imo they taste a lot better before they start to flower.
