I agree! Her videos are so well organized and edited and she's doing farming on such a practical scale.

I have always sold mini and full sized bouquets and I have found so many benefits! Some people even buy a large and small which is an extra 5 dollars for me!

I also think it a psychological thing, buying 2 for 5€ or 1 for 15€ e.g. also opening it up for people with a smaller budget.. I absolutely love the idea, also the idea if more smaller bouquets throughout the house.

Cut and save those (short) statice stems for drying! When your fresh flowers run their course you can sell $5 dried bouquets! You have such an awesome abundance of flowers in bloom, sell the perishable stems now and extend your market season with dried flowers. I have had good luck drying zinnias short of yellows or white.and of course my favorite - yarrow.

Great tips!!! I’m hoping to save lots of blooms for dried bouquets and statice are definitely perfect

There is a lady that sells zinnias in a little bouquet for five dollars and she sells them in a tin vegetable can. I thought it sounded kind of chintzy at first but then I made a few of them with my shorter stem and they were just adorable. Didn’t have to wrap them or do anything special. I probably added a few more flowers and I really need it to but I had plenty to use up and it was just cute. I’m thinking of maybe putting a little burlap ribbon do it just to dress it up. That people can walk away with the little tin and their flowers stay in water. Just an idea, again not having to do anything special or put out any extra money but also not having to have 100 little bouquets in my house or in my Compost ha ha

Great idea! Sell them not compost them!

I sell my "mini bouquets" in mason jars ( pints). Same idea but I can charge a little more for them. I put a ribbon or raffia around the neck of the jar. They are really popular. Your flowers are beautiful!

Great idea! I do a huge fall market and sell small bouquets in jam jars - they sold well last year. People were able to walk around and keep their flowers in water while they shopped other vendors!

I think the mason jar with shorter stems and raffia or ribbon makes them more festive is a great idea! I almost had a heart attack when Serena of, "You Can't Eat the Grass" said she wasn't taking their tulips to the market because they were too short!! It's another option for a sale. What do you charge for your bouquets and mini bouquets? Thanks! 🌻
@laurasnowden17592 жыл бұрын
I charge $12 for the mason jar bouquets. I actually had one lady order 15 for her daughter's wedding shower. One person actually brought back the jars! ( repeat customer) They are a great use for those shorter stems.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your stickers?
@SunshineFlora2 жыл бұрын
I have been a photographer for 20 years so I order them thru one of my labs I use for my business. But there are lots of consumer labs where you can get them! They are 2” circles / try gotprint or vistaprint
