So happy to hear your bouquet bars are doing well at the nursery, Nicole. Perfect place for them…..more traffic. Keeps your home more private. Hard to sell in September….people with school children have spent so much on things for school there’s nothing left. Nice to hear business is good at the nursery. I think that was a really smart decision although I just don’t know how you are doing so much. Please try to get some good rest….easier said than done, but if you get sick you’ll be in a pickle. Always nice to see Grampa….sexy in his blue shirt. Where’s Gramma….hello Gramma….hope you are well. I see Mom’s still painting. Love your family. Hope this weekend brings you lots of business at the nursery! 😊💖🦋🕊

I am enrolling all of my members in the floriculture project area, and we plan to grow flowers to give to local nursing homes and hospitals. What flowers would you suggest would be the easiest for my kids (ages 8-18) to grow on their own at their homes? I plan to have an area in my garden for cut flowers to supplement what they are growing. Thanks! And, thanks for always being a bright spot in my day!

There is a marketing trick where you have a low price and a higher priced one to encourage people to buy the higher priced item. You should consider offering a $25.
@Sanecrist2 жыл бұрын
The only way that would work is to have a $20 option with only 2 more stems than the $15 one to push them to buy the $15 bouquet. The perceived value would be greater for the $15 one in that scenario. I wouldn’t do a $25 anything in a small town. You would be hard pressed to convince someone to break a $20 in order to cover the extra $5. ATMs give out 20s. So capping it at $20 would be much easier for everyone. Less change to make too. People will pay the $15 and technically break a $20 bill to do it, but knowing they didn’t spend the full 20 is comforting. But making a sign for $25 and having a “sale” for $20 might work for the farmer’s market. If she positioned each sale for a different customer. Like the farmer’s market is for the customer that wants a deal. It would be a good way to get rid of iffy stems. The subscription customers get the best of the best which is why they prepay full price.

@@Sanecrist don't do sales. Sales devalue your product. Price is correctly and stand by it.
@sunniesflowerco2 жыл бұрын
Another good trick I've learned is if you want to have a lower priced item make the difference be obvious by having bunches of a single variety vs a smaller mixed bouquet. The higher price is for mixed only. Otherwise it's hard for them to see the difference of just a few stems. And sometimes they end up buying both because it's hard to choose...I mean who can turn down a beautiful bunch of snaps?? 🌼
