Yes they should. Welker farms had use of one like this last month. A demonstrator was on loan to them. They got a lot of wheat harvested with it.

The first combine I used was a case pull type combine with a Wisconsin engine on it. I was 14 years old and that was in 1954.

That Wisconsin engine was nasty to restart if it stopped hot. Had that engine on a Minnespolis Moline pull type combine in the mid 1950's. I was 6.

Combines are great but my concern is maintenance and parts replacement along with skills needed maintain and replace broken and failing modules and parts. I'm guessing each combine requires several knowledgable workers along with maintenance shops. I'm sure the added cost to the original combine cost needs to factored into the total cost. Oh and great looking jeans!!!

The technology is growing by leaps and bounds, I think that within the next decade farm machinery will be completely autonomous, which will be great for farmers. Think about it, machines will be able to run around the clock without any need for tying up multiple people to run them and reducing operator error to zero !
