Try to get these young people of today say 35 and under to watch this fantastic movie, I'll bet that most of them won't like it or sit through it either, and it's not only sickening but unforgivable as well PERIOD!!!!!

I'll admit- I was unable to sit through some parts of the movie.. but that is mostly due to my lack of attention. 💁♂ However I did like it! Jimmy Stewart's performance was phenomenal & his melancholic presence is better than anything that my generation has to offer. 😅

This is the most "Old Man Tells at Cloud" Simpsons gag comment ever.

I’m planning to show this to a freshman class at Penn State this semester I wonder if they’ll like & ‘get’ it. I suspect they will.

if they don’t love it theres very little hope for the future

I wouldn't expect them to like it because today's young people don't care about talent from the past or movies like this, not only is it disturbing but unacceptable as well.

Well it turned out that about 1/3 loved it & understood it, 1/3 found it confusing, & the other 1/3 liked it but felt they missed some elements. But it is true that getting college kids to engage with older films (they have a hard time w/B&W) requires lots of prep. Weird to me. When I was young I loved really old movies. I didn’t wonder “How come their cars have cranks in front?”
