I so appreciate your interview of Mr. Brownstone and the opportunity to get to know this amazing man. I have such respect for him as an interviewer and now I have even more respect for the person he is. Until today I never knew his story and now that I do, my respect for him knows no bounds. Thank you so much for letting me know him and doing such an insightful interview. I am a Christian, a gay man, and a better man for having watched this video.

Excellent interview Avrum! You allowed his personality and wisdom to shine without interruption and asked wonderful questions. Had no idea about Harvey’s background. The strength of his character, and his determination is incredible. I thoroughly enjoy Harvey interviews. He genuinely honors his guests with the level of his preparation and research he dedicates to them.

Wonderful interview, you asked some great questions, (like the Mae West assistant one), and gave him space to answer, let him tell his story. Great timing for me to see this as I only just discovered Harvey's channel last week, and have binged several of his shows since then. It becomes immediately evident what makes him stand out in his interview style, preparedness, interesting questions, being a true fan himself and his interesting choices of people he interviews...he stands alone in his excellence at this. Hearing his background is at once heartbreaking, and impressive, what he rose from and to. Also, his ability to forgive his parents. His understanding of Israel's plight and what's going on now...I'm a Christian/Catholic, but I agree 100% with all he said. I'm sad about the state of our world, and division, in many areas, including this. You are so right about messaging sticking, and there is so much propaganda out there now, with a lot of lazy thinkers accepting sound bites. Anyway, all to say...fascinating interview, well done, and thank you to you both.

I enjoy listening to Harvey Brownstone on his channel and here. Wow, when Harvey said your parents want their vision of who they want you to be, not your vision...omg, so very true to many times. Beautiful human being.

Thank you for this interview. I only discovered Harvey Brownstone a few months ago and have been enjoying his interviews ever since. I have always been struck by his articulateness; no doubt his legal background -- which I did not know about -- has contributed to that.

I just discovered Harvey’s interviews and being a classic film buff I really appreciate his wonderful interviews. I am also a gay man who is 61 and I am fortunate that my family has always been very supportive of me. I agree 100% on his position on Israel and that is coming from a gay Episcopalian. Thank you for this interview.

Hello my mother didn’t reveal that we were Ashkenazi Jewish until I was 18! She hid it from us and the Quittner Synogogue in Miami Florida is in our family. We all did our DNA test at Ancestry and we are Jewish. We have family in Haifa!! You’re an AWESOME interviewer Mr. Rosenzweig! GREAT GUEST!

Thank you Avrum and Harvey for a fascinating discussion. I have watched numerous interviews that Harvey has conducted and am impressed with his style. I can appreciate the unique qualities which have served him well in his previous profession and in his current work. I was especially impressed with his mother's promise to the nuns who risked their lives to save hers, and her and Harvey's fulfillment of that promise. How ironic that Harvey was tormented by those children and that teacher, when his mother and he made such a sincere and unique effort toward another faith. I wonder if they had each know what Harvey and his mother had done, after what his mother had endured at the hands of "Christians", if they might have had a moment of conscience and Christian "charity". I was wondering why Harvey was attending a school where he was the only Jewish student? Was there a possibility that he might have gone to another school? Could his parents have moved to another neighborhood? Harvey's torment and trauma was so severe that his parents must have known about it. I applaud Harvey's unique achievements and successes. I am also wondering about the lives of the bullies that attended the school reunion. Bullies, whether children or adults, are undoubtedly troubled individuals who torment and traumatize others in a futile attempt to deal with their own pain and anger. That is certainly not an excuse but an explanation toward a possible strategy to deal with this perennial problem. When Harvey refers to the adults in question as non-achievers in the professional sense, I wonder if he knew anything about how their lives had turned out. Aside from the "pot bellies', unattractive appearance and not having achieved "anything significant" professionally or publicly, I wonder what any of them might have achieved personally or privately? Is it possible some were caregivers of a sick parent or grandparent? Might any of them have raised children who became decent adults or had any attempted to fulfill a personal goal or overcome a personal struggle, whether emotional or physical, and failed? There are all kinds of "success" other than public professional success. Public professional success is not available for most of humanity. Despite that, most of us try to live our lives with dignity and meaning and strive for and sometimes achieve personal goals and dreams that are just as important to us as are the achievements of public figures are to them.

Zoom is great. But people on Zoom are stuck in one place. Remember the old show with Edward R. Murrow (Person to Person) where he interviewed celebrities? He followed Marlon Brando all around his house, and even on his patio. Of course, someone with a huge camera was following him around.
