Whats funny about wanting to try and understand the man and what made him an abuser of his power? . He screamed abuse at people he s here being a nice guy but he wasnt . Im looking at this wondering how easy it is to be taken in ,the interviewer is very impressed as most americans are by wealth and the power it gives people like him Hes just a very ugly smart jewish guy who wasnt as smart as he thought he was because he was brought down by rose mcgowan . Why hasnt she been given a medal by the government for making life better for so many women world wide? . The very acknowledgement that abuse exsists and the victim is not to blame is what matters . I never even knew who he was, im here because of rose mcgowan looking at a rapist conductung an interview like hes just the nicest guy . What kind of oerson can behave like this ......an animal predator or maybe even a sociopath and serial rapist . So tell me why its funny ?

Here's my take as a psychologist. Note that this is speculative. I think Jarvis had no idea at the time of the interview about his malignant treatment of women. But I think she picked up a vibe from him, something sexual. It made her feel uncomfortable, but she may not have been aware consciously. She sat in the very protective way. At the edge of the couch, as far away as she could get. Her legs crossed in a way that protected her crotch. Held her right arm across her body further protecting her. However, he comes across as friendly and smart and responsive; so she becomes more comfortable with him as the interview goes on and appears more relaxed and smiles more. --JIM

Katalin Bohdán I agree. I don’t believe he was guilty of coercion which the jury says that he did. The prosecution never proved force or threat. If someone decided to have sex with him and had buyers remorse after, that is not coercion. He was tried in the media and the judge ordered the jury to go and deliberate some more after they were at an impasse. The judge is a PC wack job who is big on optics. It was window dressing assault at best. Why HW cheated on his wife and broke up his nice family is sad. He obviously has psychological issues, but I don’t believe he violated any of these accusers or ruined the lives of these multimillionaire actors and directors careers that he made for them. So much for friends.

Weinstein's mother was often verbally abusive towards him and his siblings, which left a lasting impact on his psyche. He claimed that he used his power and influence in the film industry to compensate for the lack of control he felt in his childhood.
